    1. That's what good designers do. They don't want to take the shine from their clients. It's intentional.

  2. Vivienne Westwood is a gifted eccentric designer, but I love this new set of uniforms and I can't wait to see the uniforms roll out, kudos to Richard Branson,he's known to invest so much in the appearance of his staffs, one of his quotes that I truly like is "if you make your workers happy, they will make your customers happy"

  7. Vivienne Westwood wears rags? Rags that cost a fortune. That's her stock in trade. It gets her noticed! A Sir and a Dame combo can't go wrong. The best of British!!

  8. Abeg, the man should use the money meant for the uniforms to train his crew on being kind and having empathy. Can never use the airiline again.

  9. #11, i see where you are coming but i think the same can be said for every airline at some point or the other. A VA flight was one of the best flights of my life and i have flow a fair bit. It reminds me of a lady who has probably being on every top class airline you can imagine and never flies anything less than Business class, telling me that an Arik flight from London to Lagos was the best flight she had flown ever. Sometimes just one experience can put you off an airline and there are days where everything just comes together and you have a splendid experience. It is the law of averages that puts the best apart.

  12. It's not about the clothes,it's about service which they don't have ,I have promised myself that I won't fly them anymore.the way they treat people in economy class is sad,it's so bad that even drinking water was difficult to get and I asked the person beside me and he said we are in economy.i just kept mute and I never got the after asking 3 staffs.

    1. Thank you. I Thought giving water was a big deal until I used Emirates and they were giving us water or juice without even asking for it. Can never use VA lailai.

  15. @ Anon 11,16,17,21.....I fly VA regularly and am a gold card holder,av flown in all classes and I can tell u ur assertions aren't correct, truly all the airlines have their off days, but in all VA is way above others, most passengers do not listen to announcement on the aircraft,if we try to listen once in a while,it may do us a bit of good.
As regards to water, they always announce that u don't av to see or call for water as there is a self help water fountain where u can go and get water yourself and I can attest to the fact that they serve juice and water every 30mins
