''SDK, I had an interesting argument with some colleagues at work
yesterday about the first six days of Earth. According to general
Christian belief God modeled the Earth in 6 days and Rested on the
7th, right? So I'll ask you and my fellow blog visitors this:
Genesis 1:3-13; GOD created Light, called the light DAY, created the
Sky, created the oceans and made the Land produce all kinds of
vegetation. This was done in 3days. Now, on the fourth day...
Genesis 1:14-19; GOD created Light again(?). The sun, moon, stars were
created on Day 4.
Now my questions: If the Sun was created on day 4, what was that LIGHT
that shown during the day on Days 1,2, and 3? And don't say it's the
LIGHT OF GOD because HIS LIGHT shines unconditionally; day and night,
and HE wouldn't have said "Let there be Light" when HIS Glorious Light
would've been enveloping the Universe at the time. If then you're
confused about that Light, then isn't it safe to say that the Earth
was made in 6 days, figuratively speaking? Afterall, GOD doesn't
really rest, but HE "Rested" on the 7th day, right? I think God
modelled the whole world in a time space continuum that we've not yet
comprehended. What do you think SDK and precious fellow visitors?''

God has spoken and written his words thru his prophets and special emissaries in the bible and here you are mocking God's words in the guise of deluding yourself and not us. People like you would worship stars and moon and claim it is science whilst, God innovated the science we all enjoy and study today. Why don't you go to the Sky and ask God why there is death or better still go ask him how babies are mysteriously formed in the womb of women or at best, go ask God why he invented sex to be the sweetest experience on earth. I believe that our concept of time and Gods concept is totally different. we can never know how God views this phenomenon called time.

if you read all the chapters of the bible you will see that it is not written in chronological order,plus it is more of history, hence a few errors.if you look at the first chapter that talks about adam and eve being the first man and woman made, and cain and abel where their children,cain kills abel and God banishes cain and he went to live amongst the children of men and got married.if adam and eve where d first people on earth who did cain marry??who where the 'children of men"?1KI 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

2CH 22:2 42...these are some of the many contradictions of the bible, not to say the bible isnt holy, because it is and it is clearly messages from God, but one must remember the bible was written by men, different generations of men, who may not have known each other, hence the confusion in stories.the messages of the bible are clear, pay attention to those and forget about details of every story for they may not be accurate.i hope this helps

This is very laughable. Some who call themselves Christians are saying one should ask God. Others are saying what is the questioner's business with revelation. Another is instructing the questioner's to read through King James' version.

It only shows us how the bible has gone through the hands of many people and the original meaning of the bible has been distorted by men who call themselves the keeper of the book. ReplyDeleteHey! If you want to ponder on the sequence of creation,You could loose your mind. I remember asking my mum,who taught us bible stories,where did God come from? Who made God? I was told to sharrap and never ever ask again cos its a sin! Another Question I asked in Church (children's class) was,why did God put the tree of death in the garden? Was there a need? The sunday school teacher's explaination made no sense then and now. How about Lucifer, the one time favoured Angel? Where did his pride come from? Why did he want to overthrow the Almighty? When did this take place? Was it before creation? Isn't satan (today's devil), the one responsible for the 'spirit of pride'? So what demonic force(Mind you,no demons then.The rebelous Angels that were sacked along with lucifer,are today's demons),possessed lucifer to a pompous level? Why was Lucifer not destroyed instantly along with his cohorts, instead of demoting them to co~ habit with the children of men;making him the god of this world? As an adult, I sometimes catch myself pondering on why Adam and Eve as well as the snake, were not consumed by God after they fell due to the infamous Apple incident.I Don't know if it Heresy to wonder why another set of male and female were not raised from dust and rib, for peace to reign on the still brand new earth. How about Cain and Abel? When cain was forgiven by God for killing his younger brother Abel,he went elsewhere and had kids.Adam and Eve begat Cain and Abel! Abel was murdered,Cain was banished.Seth was born. Where did Cain find a woman to marry? So many questions in the Bible. That is why we must not look at it as a book. ReplyDeleteThe Light in the beginning was THE LIGHT. And in order to create time and seasons, the lesser light (moon) was made distinct from the greater light. If you have ever been to some parts of Canada, you will understand what it is like to have light for 24 hrs for over 6 months.
Meanwhile, the conclusion you put forward is straight from THE GRAIL MESSAGE. It is faulty because you are making an assumption and reaching a conclusion based on your own assumption.

ReplyDeleteWell, the creation of the Earth and Universe is what it is; A Mystery. So trying to be logical about it would make you go legally crazy. Even in Genesis 2 vs 4-6, the bible says that there were no plants on the earth because God hadn't sent rain to water the soil. Then normally we'll ask, "what about Gen 1 vs 11 and 12 where God commanded the existence of vegetation and it immediately came to pass?" We should have faith and not be ashamed to ask God questions about things that bother us. We must be obedient unto Him and he will reveal all these answers to our questions, because of His Love for us.

ReplyDeleteShe doesnt have to wait until she dies or goes crazy. on d 1st day light and darkness was seperated and on the fourth day sun and moon was created. now in countries in d northern hemisphere where due to d cold , the nights are longer nd the days shorter. wen its morning even when its still dark outside its already day nd pple are up and about, even when d sun doesn't shine. d sun mite not shine but d nite has passed nd its still day. d book of 2 peter 3:8 says a day in d eyes of God is a thousand eyes in d eyes of man. so 1 creative day is a 1000yrs so consider dat creation mite have literarily taken about 6000yrs. go research....
