The African Diaspora Merit awards (ADMA) held on Saturday October 26,2013 in Amsterdam and here are some pictures from the beautiful event filled with beautiful people.

UK based Actress Victoria Inyama-Okri anchored the event and i must confess that she did a good job,even though she told a few dry jokes...she still try!

Oh boy,i was a little shy holding the mic and saying something before my award was handed over to me....all these celebs una dey try oooooh...facing a crowd no be yam ooooh.
anyway peruse the pics to the end,you just might spot me,i looked like i would have won Miss world...hehehhehehehe.

Everyone wanted to snap with Victoria,she looked like a beautiful bride in white.

There was one guy who made me/us cry when he collected his award,whilst giving thanks to God,he broke down and cried and his wife went on the stage and wrapped him up in her loving arms..he collected Entrepreneur of the year award..i will bring his story here in the next few days. *wink

*that madam when sell gizzard suya,you still dey owe me five euro change ooh,i forget to collect am..hehehehehhe.

      Maybe it's because Nigerians here have other priorities like raising kids in Christ, charity, working to help the community n environment ...... you know , things that have real value not bothering about oppressing pple with fake hair, fake designer clothes n bags etc. Vanity upon vanity.       @Julit, that's why it's good to be exposed and well travelled. I've lived in the UK for over 10 years. Not all the kids and teenagers turn out to be gang members and stabbers. Don't know where you lived in the UK but l'll take a wild guess and say it's in the "what's your postcode" areas where the kids say "innit" in every sentence. Not every Nigerian live in those areas!
      Babes, abeg change your circle of friends and church. You might actually see another side of the UK!
