A lot of people are being contacted everyday on facebook by 'big names' and being toasted and they fall prey because they think it is the real deal.This is a conversation between Detola and someone who pretended to be Femi Otdeola...Rich Femi Otedola....she played along until she busted his PO!

A supposed ex governor has been toasting me on facebook but i know its a fake account and i have no Patience to even play along.
A lot of people are being robbed financially and emotionally on facebook
Women especially are being duped of love on facebook and who knows how many may have lost their lives by agreeing to meet these faceless handles without telling anyone?

The chat is kinda confusing, to me it felt like it was the girl that was really interested at the beginning stage, cos she "sent him the FB request" probably thinking he was the ex Govenor/Govenor , along the line she started suspecting and the guy started pulling out, abeg na them sabi, what's it with the threats on her wall after everything though? She sounds pained really.
I get inboxed all the time by some people (they are not even my friends on FB)that re to busy to converse online,claiming they went through my profile and like my person bla bla bla...they would rather drop emails telling me to send a msg so they can send a picture of themselves, and it's always Girls. Na dem sabi fb is to meet new and old frnds not a daring site. I ave been using fb since 2007 and I can testify to it dat I ave met precious people bought boys and gurls I also invite some to my bday, alot of dem attended my grand dad burial though I wasn't there my Bross in naija attend to dem wells. Mine was a terrible experience,met 1 guy online n we sort of started dating,I have this fear of going 2 another town to see a stranger,so invited my supposed lover to the town I was in.He came n checked in a good hotel,we hangout n talked about some many tinz including the future!I had no idea that this guy was a scam!!!!!infact he stayz in d same state with me n pretended all this while,so the next day morning he pretend to be sick,so I went to visit him in his hotel room.On my way dia ,he asked me if I had an ipad that his own settings was not that good,that he wouldn't mind using mine to correct his!Been very stupid I thought the guy was 4real,I took my ipad,blackberry n my handphone to go 2 his hotel room.(He has been admiring my handphone,the day we had our date),so he was intrigue that came with it.He took it from me n even brought out his ipad(am now sure ,it must be from his other victims,if not am a Virgin and stronghead,he would have had sex with me,but thank God that didnot happen)So he was busy operating my handphone,ipad and I left my bb(Touch 2)on the bed without suspectng jack!I decided to go n ease myself in the toilet!and to my greatested shock that guy dissapeared like he was never in the room,like I was with a ghost!!!!!telling the hotel staffs my story seems like a movie to them!The security guide told me the saw him leaving and thought I had left!I couldn't even cry!I was in a total shock for1week!when I was able to get a new phone ,my facebook has been hacked n I were receiving threat message from some female friends who claime I dupe them.My God it was a terrible experience.These dayz I don't even allow any guy to talk rubbish to me on FB,I will just finish ur life!scams! I'm always very careful about who I talk to on Facebook. If it's not someone I know well, I will keep your request pending and will ignore your mails. I also get a lot of funny mails from people I don't know both male and female.

I remember when one of my hubby's so called friend was asking me out on Fb (I have never met the guy before). He was always sending me love messages on fb and yahoo which I always ignore. He even went to the extent of begging for my account number so he will send me money to visit him in PH. I had to check his profile and i noticed he is a mutual friend with my hubby on fb and I showed hubby all his messages. Hubby was speechless and he called the useless guy in my presence immediately, the guy couldn't even deny it. He hung up on my hubby when he didn't know what to say.

Apart from being hubby's friend, they are also from the same village and attended same secondary school and university. My hubby reported him to all their friends and his relatives. Anytime we travel down to village, he avoids my hubby and his people. The mumu guy still had the guts to send me a mail calling me a juu girl. That I'm not a coded girl. That he would have transformed my life if I wasn't stupid to involve my hubby. You need to see the guy's pictures sef, very ugly thing! Recently we heard he has been sacked in his work place. Smh. People now use fb to do rubbish. Fb is no longer interesting.

I met this guy on a social network, he said his name is kay phillips and I rushed to google him and d only kay phillips turns out to be a woman who is a doctor. The pictures on his profile looked like someone I see on tv so I quickly asked him why he is using someone's pix, his first reaction is to get angry and ask if I was drunk. I nvr replied again untill 2 days later he started contactin me again and we started chatting

In the chat I asked him to send me pix and he sent two personal pix, den I asked him to send me the one he has family and friends and he sent me a pic wit an older black woman and a young model- like lady stating dat they r his mum and exwife, hahahah

It was that pix dat busted him. I goggled the red carpet of that event cos I copied the name of the event on the poster behind the picture. Check facebook for an account named Pivotal Footwear or Akintayo Long Ortega. That's his speciality. The shoes he posts there are FAKE! He doesn't sell them. It's just a front. Even his brothers and friends do the same work. May God help innocent ladies out there.
