Femi Fani Kayode VS Aviation Minster Stella Oduah...Name Calling is Fair In Love and War?

(sighs)....Minister of controversy Femi Fani Kayode is sure living up to the new portfolio i tagged him.
Every new week sees him dissing and calling out one prominent person or the other….I don't think he is high on anything,he is just doing his job….creating controversies as best as he can to perhaps correct something he sees wrong, albeit that he goes about it the wrong way.

After last week's thursdays plane crash Femi came calling on the minister of aviation Stella Oduah to be relieved of her post,he cried wolf and went about it the oxford dictionary way.

What did Stella do?She showed that a woman stands up when she is challenged.her response to Femi's wolf cry is epic

''"I have huge sympathy for them, the ignorant people in particular. Because when you speak out of context, when you speak under the influence of whatever it is you are under, you speak incorrectly and you mislead innocent Nigerians and that is what he has done. And he really should hide his head in shame.”

What did Femi do?he lived up to his controversial portfolio and even put writer Mariam ba's' 'So long a letter' to shame by sending 'Sterra' a so long long long a reply.

''I do not like joining issues with women publicly which is why I was very gentle with her in my essay though I made my point. But this particular woman is endangering the lives of our people with her incompetence and insensitivity and we cannot just keep quiet. This is a woman under whose watch almost 200 people have been killed as Aviation Minister and instead of focusing on how to save lives her obsession has become smearing and abusing Femi Fani-Kayode. This is a woman who only yesterday told Nigerians that ''accidents are inevitable'' and that they were ''acts of God''. This is a woman who thinks more about how her headscarf looks, her jewellry and the jewellry of others more than she does about protecting Nigerian air travellers

If anyone should bury her head in shame it is her and not me. After just under 200 of our fellow citizens have been killed under her watch instead of abusing her critics and those of us that have expressed our concern and offered our advise she should be seeking repentance from God and tendering her resignation. She should be attempting to encourage the Nigerian people and assuage their fears rather than indulging in petty and cheap sideshots  and an futile press war. Instead of comforting the families of those that were lost she is opening her mouth and abusing me.  What a shame. Under her tenure we have beautiful terminals but deadly and blood soaked skies. Our skies have become a death trap because she really doesn't care.

My advice to her is to shut up, get serious and focus on doing her job rather than attempting to smear me with her filthy lies and malicious innuendos. I raised some serious issues in that essay that were clearly above her education level and I avoided personal insults. That is what civilsed people do. She should learn from that and address the issues that were raised rather than spend her time trying to kill the messanger. When someone says that God is the author of fatal crashes you know that it is not the same God that we worship as that person. It is the devil that causes accidents and kills people and not God. You can say that a fatal accident is an act of God only if the devil is your god. When I speak and write I am under the influence of one thing and one thing alone- the Spirit of the Living God who sees through her and who knows her for what she is.

She is the one that is under the influence of one thing or the other and not me. She is the one whose hands are filled with blood. She is the one that must bury her head in shame and no-one else. I will pray for her because she needs it and I will pray for Nigeria to. May God deliver us from this vampire Minister''.

What do we do with Femi?who will  shut him up?Or is he right on track with this one?

He used to be aviation Minister and now Stella is on the aviation seat.some school of thought feels Stella Oduah is doing a damm good job and that the tragedies which has bedevilled her administration is not her fault,Femi feels otherwise.
As former aviation Minster,Femi Fani Kayode must know what we do not know?

Was his attack on Stella mis-timed?wrong?unfair or what?

I beg make una come join me laugh this laugh. Culled this from another blog on this FFK matter.

"Is this how FFK prefer to do his retirement? Instead of him to go teach at any primary or secondary school, he's here exchanging words with ladies"

Omo this person couldn't have said it any better. See how dem berate u cos of too much talk talk Mr FFK? I don laugh cry ooo!!

But seriously, have been asking one question and someone is yet to answer me. This man claims he's a lawyer with associates, who are his clients? Present/past? Does this man hold any other job apart from being a 'forceful' politician? Any means of livelihood at all?

Ever since he's been relieved of his job as minister, this Femi has not worked for any paying job for one day. That is why he is frustrated cos he has no income. His anger has been transferred to frustration and obseSsion, when there's no money coming in. That na why he dey too fuck women post their foto..when there's no job!

If by mistake this man get any position again ehn, he will first clear una public reserve to clean up his dirty self. See hw long ago he don comot for govt without job o. So pardon the man, if hin no talk he go run mad for house cos of boredom. He's jealous of everyone in govt.

  3. No o Stella. You got the sequence of events wrong. Madam Minister said plane crashes were bound to happen as they were acts of God. You ommitted that.

FFK is right this time. Madam should do her work and concentrate less on fashion. She should take a cue from Hillary Clinton's understated appearance. Too many mishaps have happened under her watch. After the tragic Dana crash, she reinstated Dana's license while the nation was still grieving.

Now that she's supposed to be trying to sooth the pain of the several bereaved families, she's engaging in idle chit chat, insulting those offering constructive criticism.

  5. FFK is like a drowning man and he is trying to take some people down with him. Everything happening is a build up of systemic failures. These aircrafts that are said not to be airworthy, were they bought yesterday? Can this man point out what he did to make our skies safer? Ms Oduah is trying her best, she asked for funds, they were not released. There is a cabal that doesn't want it to be well with Nigeria. All the other air mishaps, what happened to the outcome of investigations? Recommendations? Now the senate wants to embark on another wild goose chase. Its still a long walk to freedom Nigeria

I don't even know hwere to start.
I will say this though, do you research and don't be blinded by sentiments.
To the person claiming Ms Stella asked for funds and was turned down, the honorable thing to do when you can't carry out your duties is to resign and keep your intergrity. A less severe approach would be to ground the planes that were deemed unsafe. Keep in mind that these aircrafts belong to private carriers you comment like the carriers were the property of a non existent Nigerian airways.

  21. She saying accidents are inevitable and acts of God i found offensive, this people that died have families, they are not dogs! Even if my dog die's today i will cry. When things like this happen you mind what you say or you keep quiet. The aviation minister is doing a great job none the less. As for FFK, we all know by now that the guy is a SHIT HEAD and also on drugs so...He is frustrated and want's to be given a post in gov. ( It will never happen )

This ffk is suffering from a severe mental problem, Stella Oduah is trying her very best to revamp the aviation industry, I don't know why anybody should blame her for all the woes that has befallen the industry. The idiots calling for sack and resignation are under the influence of same drug as ffk. The intelligent ones and lawyers please explain to these half baked graduates what "act of God" means.

  27. Unfortunately, as much as I ll like to castigate ds guy, ffk is right ds time. Stella odua really needs to sit up. The rate @ which air mishap keep occuring is very alarming. 28. fani kayode should shut the hell up......because he was lucky there was no accident during his time he thinks he has the right to open his gutter mouth and make noise abi? accidents can happen anytime and anywhere that's a fact with anything mechanical....so till the report of the investigations come out fools should close their mouths.......the people who died are not fools and nobody will know that an aircraft cannot fly and will attempt to fly it....flying is not a suicide mission

    ReplyDelete
  29. you idiots making noise the plane was not fit to fly do you work at the airport or with associated? was the flight a suicide mission? if no stop the speculations and close your ignorant traps......only the report of the investigation will tell the true story.....even in developed countries accidents happen...

  35. @stella
my prayer to you is that you do not experience what families of air crash victims go through.i know a friend whose family is one of the people involved in the dana crash so for you to call an air crash "wolf's whistle" shows you dont even know or comprehend the enormity.

love or hate ffk,his moral aunction or personality is not the issue here but the safety of Nigerians and aircraft.

FFK as a former aviation minister who has been in charge of the same ministry before and recorded zero accident is the best person to offer advice to the woman which he has done in his first article.

instead of her to face issues and attack ffk where he has been wrong on issues she is coming out with crap about him being under the influence.

who is under the influence between the two of them,a grown woman and minister calling air crashes where hundreds have died "an act of GOD" or ffk not only outlining all the crashes but stating the problems and solutions as a former holder of the post?

lets continue abusing ffk while ignoring the collateral damage of hundreds of Nigrians like mosquitos

  36. An act of God is an unforeseeable natural phenomenon.
    (i) which involve no human agency
(ii) which is not realistically possible to guard against
(iii) which is due directly and exclusively to natural causes and
(iv) which could not have been prevented by any amount of foresight, plans, and care

  37. If you promote youreslf as an agent of transformation and after 2years you have nothing positive to show for it, in my opinion that is a failure.

The issue here is the vision and mission have not been met, why stay on and not step aside.
    Protect your integrity.
    VISION:
To be the best Aviation Industry in Africa and one of the best in the world

    MISSION:
To build a safe, secured and efficient aviation industry focused on making Nigeria a hub that meets International Standards and Best Practices for the African continent
    http://www.nigeria.gov.ng/2012-10-29-11-06-51/executive-branch/89-federal-ministry-of-aviation/112-federal-ministry-of-aviation

    THE MINISTRY:

The Nigerian Federal Ministry of Aviation is a ministry of the Nigerian Government that regulates air travel and aviation services in Nigeria. The ministry is responsible for formulation and management of the government's aviation policies in Nigeria. It is directly responsible for overseeing air transportation, airport development, maintenance, provision of aviation infrastructural services and other needs. The ministry is headed by a Minister appointed by the President, assisted by a Permanent Secretary, who is a career civil servant. The Ministry is responsible for parastatals such as the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology
