The issue of polio vaccines in Nigeria (specifically northern Nigeria) and people’s divided opinion about it was headline news both in local and international media for a long time. There were claims by those opposed to their children taking the vaccines that it causes infertility and a means of depopulating some parts of the world. These people were often time regarded as ignoramuses and that their conclusion not to allow their children to be immunized of poliomyelitis was as a result of their “backwardness” and “illiteracy”.
In this video, Reuters report that the claims of these people is not far from the truth. In the video, you will see pictures of some of the traditional rulers of the north of Nigeria together with Bill Gates. The video shows and explains how the Bill Gates’ sponsored immunization worldwide is been used to cause infertility and also do more harm than good. Many children who take the vaccines become paralysed instead of the claim that such vaccines keep them immune from poliomyelitis.
The vaccines are claimed to contain “most potent spermicides” that sterilize people and “blast men’s scrotum through ultrasound” in a way to damage the sperm.

Wow! Stella! I'm so disappointed at you for putting this up. You should know much better. There's no known case in Nigeria yet that has linked these vaccines to infertility and disability. Do you know what putting this sort of news up on your blog which is very popular could lead to? Wasn't it this year that about 10 polio vaccine workers were killed in kano after a radio programme which made these same claims as on this post. Those health workers, mainly women were slaughtered by extremists. Some foreigh doctors in another state (Jigawa I think) were also killed for similar reasons. Yet, here you are propagating foolishness on your blog. This is the lowest of the low and my heart literally sank as I read this post. Such a shame! Do more research, do more investigations. Ever heard of investigative journalism? Even if you can't cos of distance, what happened to your colleagues? These are mainly unsubstantaited claims. ReplyDeleteThis is not true, I served in the north, Sokoto to be precise, the disabled there are children whose parents don't go to hospitals except when things have gone really bad. Northern from my experience in Sokoto don't value healthcare. I was once given a syringe by a mother to help inject an ailing child who was so sick to the point of being bed ridden. I refused and someone else, an indigene collected it and injected the child. These people don't know the essence of hospitals and doctors, those allegations are lame. Pls do your findings and you will agree with me.
