Governor Amosun Of Ogun State Please You Need To Read This ....SHOCKING!

I live in a country where the light DOES NOT GO OFF.....it stays on until you decide to put it off yourself, and if for any reason it is to go off,the appropriate authority uses the media to alert the areas concerned before hand and say exactly why the light will go off and for how long and then they apologise ahead...

I have not seen darkness caused by light going off except it is night time......so imagine my shock when i hear that a street in Nigeria has not had light for over 5years?..I am sorry but i am in shock over this...how the heck do these people manage?how have they managed?nothing functions without light!

Please read this mail and help alert whoever is in charge....this is ridiculously unbelievable!

''Stella please help us to beg the Ogun state Governor
We people of Alhaja Ashabi street Adesan close have not seen Electricity since 2007!
please Help us to beg the Governor Amosun to give our Street a Transformer .
please pity for our parents because the money they use everyday to buy fuel can be used for other means.please Ogun state Governor help us''.

  4. Learn to stop begging your government but rather demand for your right. That's why this country is where it is cause of our attitude to the government we supposedly voted for. ..

    1. Thank you for saying this. Let the entire families living on that street come together and seriously protest with placards and all. You know Nigerian Government don't like peace, they like force.

  5. I can only imagine the lungs related diseases that will haunt Nigeria in a few years' time.

Why are Nigerian leaders this useless? Goodluck, you too couldn't break this Power curse! All you people struggle for is how to remain in power forever. Shame on you all. Damn.

  9. Last week, AIT aired a suburb of Abuja (Less than 25KM to main city) where there hasn't be a taste of light for the past 10yrs (2003)!

Govr Amosun is a performing Govr, those areas should channel their case well, he will definitely do something.

  17. Ogun state has light issues. When I was in uni there, we read with candles for exams and I kept wondering why a students environment won't have light. The 5 years I spent there, am not sure I enjoyed light for up to a year yet if you pass government house, light will be on there.

  23. Nigerians need to stop begging for what is rightfully theirs. How can people live without electricity for more than few days, not to talk of 5 years; Jonathan and Co its not fair our government is useless they only want to enrich there pockets leaving the masses to suffer....thats why people are looking for green pasture else where.

For how long are we going to suffer; No jobs, No electricity, bad roads, useless leaders/government, no water, no security, hospitals are not up to standard...etc that why Jonathan will leave Nigeria to Uk for treatment, have you heard David Cameron or Obama going to another country for treatment? Awon were alai lojuti!!!

  27. This is what happen when people don't know their rights or the right people to speak to!
That street is under a local government. Everyone that live on that street should march down the local government or send representatives and demand for change before sending a message to Amosu who is not within your reach.

  30. this has been a typical case with ogun state. a friend moved to ibafo since january and believe you me, its N3500 worth of fuel every week. The residents were told to contribute 100k each compound for a transformer, isn't that absurd? and we all pay tax one way or another in this country.
