House of Assembly Speaker Aminu Tambuwal Whooped By Rueben Abati On Twitter.

Yesterday whilst responding to questions at an anti-corruption seminar organized by NBA, in Abuja, the speaker of House of Assembly Aminu Tambuwal said that President Jonathan's body language was encouraging corruption in Nigeria by 'failing to act on corruption cases revealed by the National Assembly.'

“Take the subsidy probe, the pension, the SEC probe and recently the bullet proof car cases. After the House of Representatives did a diligent job by probing and exposing the cases, you now see something else when it comes to prosecution."

Presidential Voltron,Rueben Abati rose to denfed his oga of cause!

  2. No, Abati whooped himself and his boss. He's digging the grave of his disgrace deeper by the day. Abati's case is a classic example of how Poverty can turn one's brain upside down.

Ride on Abati, when you leave government, you will feel the full weight of your trechery. A good name is better than silver and gold. That's why Mandela had a hundred presidents at his memorial.

  6. Useless spokes person and useless president, the worst Nigeria has ever seen. Notting to show for his presidency the past years only bad lucks. I ask myself what will reuben do or say after he leaves office as spokes person. His job is the worst job anyone can handle (MOTTO -LIES) because u keep lying to urself when u know d truth. Hausa people are not better but Gej and his administration is the worst we have seen. Our country is notting to write about anymore. SAD. I am sure some gullible people will defend his administration here.

  9. Abati take one million seats in an empty stadium and eat a bucket of burnt popcorn while u drink a bottle of coke. The truth still remains that GEJ'S administration for the past 3 yrs is yet to convict anyone for corruption. Obasanjo during his time convicted the likes of tafa balogu and others for corruption in as much as people tagged it "witch-hunting", but then again the people that EFCC " witch-hunted" were never innocent.
As for you Tambawal take some seats too, are you innocent of corruption? What laws have u guys passed to make corruption a more serious case. Someone gets 2-5yrs jail term for stealing 2bn, while someone get 21yrs for exam malpractice, which of the two is more serious a crime? Until our legislators make corruption a crime that attracts death penalty like china, omo we can't fight corruption.

    1. Coke? But why? He should drink bleach. NNPC just diverted $50 billion crude oil fund. GEJ, Okonjo, Deziani all in the name of 2015. Tambuwal should come up with a bill on corruption that attracts life sentence or death penalty, then we know he is serious. Our leaders lack integrity. As for Abati, nigerians are waiting for him. Life is transient talkless of a mere position. Oponu.

  12. Tambuwal should shut the hell up and face his office, When is it jonathan's responsibility to prosecute any body for corruption is that not the work of the judiciary? He should use the efcc to man hunt his opponents/ opposition like obj did right? Corruption starts from me and you not GEJ for crying out loud. I think GEJ should grow more balls because the likes of Tambuwal and co are taking him for granted. What has the national assembly and tambuwal himself done about the aircraft my Amiable governor bought in a sham name? What did say about that..what about the PIB they have refused to pass and the Girl child law. Tambuwal thinks criticising GEJ will make him look good and corruption free but he is high on bad weed. The Idiot say GEJ has done nothing in 3 years is just ignorant fool so I won't waste my time to reply you. Mr. Abati is only doing his job and he is doing that perfectly. Stella your ignorance is also alarming so I would let you pass for now. Some people called Mandela weak for not being vengeful. Corruption is everywhere. Nigeria's unity is a sham, eveif GEJ tries to go after these corrupt people some people will call him a religious or ethnic bigot. If you think GEJ is not good enough, I dare the opposition to come up with a better option not tambuwal.

  13. "...government is investigating various matters, and working on them in accordance with due process...". So, what has the House of Representatives been doing? Investigating without due process? Isn't it the job of the executive government to take legal action after individuals have been indicted by the National Assembly, or am I missing something? Who knows Abati should caution him on time because his forefathers are not smiling. Be wise in 2015, for your own good and the good of your children. It's up to you.

  14. With a man that is always slow at taking critical decisions, it will be very difficult to fight corruption! With a country of over 250 different ethnic groups speaking more than 500 different dialects, with different traditions, customs and beliefs. Nigeria is almost equally divided by the Niger and Benue Rivers with majority of the muslims in the North and the christian in the South. So with these great diversity, it makes it one the most difficult countries of the world to be a leader!
We need charismatic and assertive leaders who makes and takes decisions with limited consultation and unnecessary setting up of committees when the truth is evident!
    GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

  16. Abati's brain should be examined. Afterall the Jonathan govt granted state pardon to a well known thief, Alams of Bayelsa. Everyone. Is corrupt in this sector. Including Patience Jonathan who we heard she is behind the new plate number being issued by FRSC. However, Tambuwal is not a saint either, pass bills that will benefit the masses and Nigerians as a whole. GEJ should pack out in 2015. Enough.

  17. The latest revelation is President Goodluck Jonathan and two of his top ministers may be attempting a cover-up on what clearly competes as Nigeria’s biggest fraud ever, involving the illegal diversion, or theft, of over N8 trillion crude oil sales proceeds. Reuben Abati has since proven that whoever pays the piper, dictates the tune.

  22. Sadly, corruption is now a norm in Nigeria. You're termed "Dull" if you can't convet state property to yours while in power. Most Nigerians are suffering from "poverty mentality" which blinds one to acquire everything &anything useful or otherwise. The irony of it is that you can oppress as much as you can,but you can only sleep In a room at a time no matter how big,drive/board a car/jet no matter how expensive & then ultimately death comes which is inevitable for all living beings. And we believe that there won't be judgement after all injustice perpetrated? May The Almighty soften the hearts of our leaders/oppressors,amina.
