Nigerian Deportees Arrive Nigeria From Saudi Arabia

The first batch of 80 Nigerians to be repatriated from Saudi Arabia arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, yesterday December 25,2013.

Mr Daniel Obot, the Assistant Director, Relief and Rehabilitation, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), told newsmen at the Airport that the deportees were part of the 508 Nigerians residing illegally in Saudi Arabia.
He said the Federal Government approved their repatriation after they voluntarily agreed to return home, adding that they would be handed over to officials of their State Emergency Management Agency after due clearance.

951 other Nigerians arrested by the Saudi authorities are being held in a camp in the country, and would return home at the instance of the Saudi government. ....NAN

  17. I don't understand these Saudis. Last year they embarrased us by deporting over 1000 of our Muslim women because they didn't have "male protection". How come these women have been residing in their country, possibly without any male companion? Their so-called ideals with regards to women is muddy.

  19. Brood of vipers!!! Saudi should allow them to stay abeg. Bunch o nuisance. Yours brothers and husbands only have money to cause havoc on earth. It never occurs to them to do anything constructive like helping u to survive and set up business. Look at what is happening in South Sudan! Do you think thru your anus or what? What good comes from your group to this earth? None none! Pissed.

  20. You ignorant lot! It's obvious you've never been to Saudi Arabia that's why you think Nigeria is better.

  21. Make una siddon there. Living in Saudi is definitely better than living in Nigeria, if you are not a law breaker.

I know a Christian Doctor that's living in Saudi illegally too. What he was making in Nigeria in a year, he can make in Saudi in 3 weeks.

Because they are all wearing Hijab doesn't mean they are all muslims. The christians sef dress like that to fit in.

  25. You people make me laugh o, Stella seriously you are comparing Nigeria to Saudi hmmm(laughing in German),no basis for that abeg, a litre of fuel goes for about 17naira approximately.
Saudi is an advanced country with rules that work & where you can live provided you are legit immigrants & not involved in illicit business(drugs et al),the average citizen enjoys light, water, good roads, food, clothing etc. Most of the deportees would have escaped during pilgrimage.
That its a Muslim country so? do you know how many Christian nurses/doctors are living in there, have been there no be ITK matter & know a lot of professionals that have worked/working there, nagode.

  26. Ignorant Nigerians running their mouths as usual. You dare compare Naija to Saudi? Big joke.
