Anti-Gay Law - Kelechi Unadike Of Asherzs Salon Arrested At Atlanta Airport...Says He Is Gay And Running.

Kelechi John Unadike works of Asherzs Salon on Opebi road in ikeja…He is popularly known as KC and his touch and craft turns ladies into beautiful Princesses.

Before now, there have been rumour fingering his sexuality as gay but the ladies who admired him frowned at those whispering these things and life went on.

KC left for America on Tuesday January 21,2014.he was stopped at Atlanta airport and he declared asylum screaming he is gay and was running for his life because of the new Anti-gay law which would endanger his life and send him to jail for 14 years..

Immigration asked for a number to call and he gave them the number of one of his workers named Cynthia.
When immigration called Cynthia, she denied of behalf of KC that he was gay and  rejected it in Jesus' name …They thanked her and the communication line was cut off .

Nobody has heard anything from KC since then.

KC  graduate from the University of Lagos and before now only travelled to South Africa and Maylaysia and has clientele all over Nigeria

Well, no one knows whether KC decided to cash in on the anti gay law and relocate easily to America or if he ran because he was scared of being arrested because of his status

….Whatever it is,the news is out there now and the American immigration have no choice now than to grant him asylum.

I don't know if deporting him will be a good idea.

Hmmmm….I wish KC a happy stay in America if he is granted asylum…if not na heavy gobe oh.

    1. Cynthia rejecting this guy is gay in Jesus name will definately strengthen his case. It shows the mindset of nigerians towards gay people. All this guy needs is a good immigration lawyer who can argue his case well. I would gladly take his case up if I were in America unfortunately I only practice in europe.

  50. people used 'genital mutilation' as a reason to seek asylum, now it is the anti-gay law, tomorrow it would be something else, it is well with us blacks. This is just a phase and I'm sure it will pass

  52. Really, do I blame Cynthia ? You want naija police to arrest her for aiding and abetting homosexuality ? Plus why is this anti gay thingy all about men? Aren't there eve and Evonne in this naija as well? Just saying!

    ReplyDelete
  53. ATTENTION STELLADIMOKORKUS, KINDLY CONFIRM THE AUTHENTICITY OF THIS REPORT AND email couragenigeria@gmail.com. If KC is in asylum detention we can take up his case and help out.

  54. Gay as gay. I asked him in 2003 and he denied. He is. We will continue to pray for their conversion

    ReplyDelete
  55. We have to first and foremost ascertain why he was arrested? Could it be he had no visa? If yes the airline and customs that allow him board should be questioned to because I know they just don't arrest you when you get to the U s. Am guessing he was not arrested usually upon entrance they ask you your reason for visit and how long you intend to stay. Maybe he anwered that he was running that was why they called but what we don't know is that they will investigate any gay claim to the last before granting asylum . You don't want to mess with American immigration because of our fraudulent ways of doing things they tag any immigrant from Nigeria as a red flag case and are more detailed when dealing with us...

  56. Every man who wishes to take on the mantle of manhood of ''better life'' must make the efforts and ignore all negative criticism along the way.

As long as the decision would provide him with the desired opportunity to get himself off the hook. I'm damn 2 sure the guy 'Don tink all dis b4 e set out' Mind you,he travelled with an authentic visa,he could had chosed to enter without too much ado.

People talking about knowing him as a hardworking and creative guy, but, doing well and being in a difficult situation is another thing.

Again,if he was that comfortable there in N9ja and he sees somewhere better beyond his present location. There's a phrase that says ' Nothing succeeds a success better than another sweet success'

As pple already dey talk say na bad name to Niaja, PLS HOW DIS DEY TAKE AFFECT OUR ECONOMY,Abi e divert our resources or money go abroad ?

it's extremely impossible that one would be able to know much about someone's particular situation without being close to the person.

I just wish the guy get luck, make den grant am,Una go see another Kelechi in few years to come.

Hairstylist in Yankee 4 dat matter, after being well-grounded in N9ja ....hmm

No be small prospect oo, if he his truly determined and hardworking in Yankee with his fine looks and coupled with his experience in his profession.

Anyway, many of us don't know that sizeable number of white people, also seek refuge in African countries. If you think my reference is inappropriate, please
endeavor to find out b4 attacking me.

Good luck to Kelechi in the struggle to better his life.
