She Is Pregnant! But Needs To Know .......



Good day. Please,I will like to use your blog to ask for a little help. I am a regular reader. I just moved to Lagos after our wedding late last year. So I am trying to settle here in Okota,Isolo. My friends are not here too. I just noticed that I am pregnant yesterday. I have been so happy and thanking God. 



.....But I have a little problem of a good hospital around here. The ones I saw along the road,the reports I got are not good ones. Like " babies die there a lot", "the doctors are not good" the hospital management is associated with evil". I am so scared. 


I need to register for ante natal to know what its all about. Pls blog visitors help a sister. May God bless you all and grant you all that our desires.

      Get a general hospital na! There is one @ikeja,isolo and even island,atleast the doc there are certified

      My dear go to golden cross hospital, Festac. i had my two children there, the doctors are professionals and many women fron Ago go to Golden cross hospital. The only problem is that you will have to sacrifice a full day for ANC cos the crowd is always crazy and more ppl keep coming.

      Na wa o. Different strokes for different folks. This one dey find better hospital,yet mama Caro born 7 children,all by herself at home. None died, no complications whatsoever.

    U can try kupa medical center along osolo way from ansuwani market, take a turn at rasmon street ask for the hospital.

    U can also try heals specialist at Godwin omonua street ireakari road isolo.cheers

    Go to St Rapheal Hospital ago palace way okota, doctor Tony Omolola is a very good doctor that you can trust. And if you can come out of okota go to Reddinton hospital Ikeja or mother and child on adeniyi Jones, goodluck.

      Mother and Child Ke???!!! I lost a dear friend to that hospital over a very simple and avoidable issue. Please DO NOT venture near there. Roddin Medical Centre in VI or their branch in Ojodu is a good bet. Dr Iketubosin is a reknown OBG.

    It all depends on your pocket too. You are to start ante natal when your pregnancy is either 3or 4months. You can google Reddington or Marina hospitals though. They are well equipped. Congrats and may your delivery be safe.

      Choi! See advice o! Who told you a pregnant woman has to wait till she is 3 or 4 months pregnant? Abeg, dont mind this fake advice o. As soon as you decide on a good hospital, just go and keep strictly to the doctor's instructions okay?

      I support Roddin because I know and trust Dr Iketubosin but look for a place that is easily accessible because Lagos traffic is tough for 'un-pregnant' women so you can imagine that it might not be fun for the preggie ones.

    So how do those living in Okota/Isolo treat themselves and their children? Dear poster, don't tremble at these so-called reports. They may not be entirely true. Go to a good Pharmacy and make inquiries. Even if babies are dying in the hospitals you've spotted, are they devoid of pregnant women seeking ante natal care? Make the inquiries from a good Pharmacy and listen less to those who want to instill fear in you. Who knows, probably jealous *virus infested* people are the ones with these tales.

    Thanks poster, I fall in the league to know as well. In my environs though there's a private hospital at allen, I'm thinking of enrolling there. It will be too far for u, so I leave that to SDKers. Does any1 know of a good hospital around Adeniyi jones? Need to register it as my family hospital. Thanks

    You can check St rapheal hospital, the have a new branch on Lateef adegboyega str off ago palace way(grandmates busstop). You can also try a Govt hospital they will treat you well once you do your ante natal with them.

    Congratulations! In my opinion Deseret Hospoital located in ikj GRA Oduduwa isn't bad @ all. They have one of d best consultant gynea in Naija, who comes only on tues and thurs for cosultation and my second option would be Military hospital Ikoyi, dey also have gd experts der.

    You all must forgive me , but my opinion of the areas you mention give's me goose bumps, in my head, the only places i can recommend are Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki Banana Island, there are also nice hospitals in Ikeja. After this places i mentioned i can't recommend any where else( this are the places i spend my time when i visit home ) I am sure those that live in the areas you mention will be a able to assist. I have heard of how babies can be changed( you have a boy they give you girl) and stolen in those areas. Good luck.

    Okota isolo is not far to surulere infact its astraigth road from d new cele bridge.come to GBAJA Hospital.its for women and children and its a government hospital far better than most private ones in terms of d good doctors and d neat enviroment.a trial will surely convince u. Thank me later

    I'm not conversant with Isolo so I cannot recommend any good one. Light hospital, Egbeda is a very good hospital. The owner is even a pastor and I love the way he counsels his patients and makes them see the good even in worst situations, but Egbeda is too far from Isolo.

    Go to Isolo General Hospital or look for a very good private hospital around ur area. But I wld suggest u go to the GH. Though dre booking procedure is hectic, bt its worth d stress, u re sure of being managed by experienced hands. Safe delivery IJN. OYE

    Any General Hospital around u. They've changed from what they used to be. I used R-Jolad for my 1st son & Gbagada General Hospital for my 2nd. The difference is clear. Kudos to Fashola.

    my dear poster..if u want any good hospital and u cannot afford the likes of reddington, lagoon, st nicholas hospitals and co, i strongly advice you go to a general hospital or a teaching hospital. trust me they have specialist doctors and you will never regret using them..Since you reside at Okota, there is a general hospital at isolo. Just go there and make your enquires. I wish you all the best

    Please go to St Rapheal. That is where my sis in delivered her 3 kids. They re ok. The environment is ok. Although my bro Dr okoli worked for them briefly, he was around during his wife's first two delivery but not around during d last one.

    My sister congrats on your 9 months journey. It's an interesting one. Well, Try St Emmanuel Hospital by Aswani Market in Isolo. I lived in AliDada street for several years and had all my 3 kids there and they are all healthy. At least their ages are 18, 16 and 5... Great hospital, very affordable. I started with them and finished with them.

      That's true o! St Emmanuel on Adebola Ademuyiwa street is very good. Owned by Dr Akinrinade. I lived on that street for years and know several babies delivered there.

    I live in okota too n I have two married sisters who has given birth within okota. From their experience I can tell u the general hospital is the best.Most of all this private hospital do not have specialist n where complication occurs they refer to the general hospital at dying point.Go n register at the general hospital in isolo.it has be renovated by the govt well equipt,good n well cleaned ward.U can go there n see for urself.

      Hi Queen. Lagoon in VI is quite affordable. There's also an OBGYN in VGC shopping complex on the 1st floor. Quite good and reasonable prices. Island maternity is also good.

    Isolo has good hospitals.. Sentinel hospital @ oke-afa Isolo is very good.. that's where most women in Isolo give birth.. or you try General Hospital Isolo.. it's close to where the Ikeja bomb blast victims were buried.

    Look no further, go to Isolo General Hospital. Why do u want to stress yourself. Make your findings there and see for yourself. I stay in Adeniyi Jones and delivered my baby at Ifako Ijaiye General Hospital. I have no regrets. Competent hands throughout.

    Women please Always use the general hospital closest to you...the truth is general hospitals always have a variety of qualified doctors compared to one or two doctors u find in the private hospitals (the private clinics usually hire doctors that are just medical officers and not consultants in their fields)...in case of complications doctors in general hospitals would handle things better...Best of luck with you pregnancy,May you deliver safely in Jesus Name,Amen!     You can try Faith City Hospital @ Ajao, it's close to okota. The nurses and doctors are friendly and courteous, they treat their patients like Family but above all God is the great physician

    Go to khan specialist. Hospital off Ago palace way. Delivered my two babies there or if you have money go to outreach. Specialist both in festac and okota towards cele bus stop. They are very thorough but a bit expensive. Almost lost my baby to Rh incompatibility but God took me there. It was not an east battle but today my son is very healthy. The doctors there are very good. Mimy

    Please go to the best hospital around Sis and if you are not satisfied with their services, change to another one and also pray for your baby. I lost my first child cos of negligence on the part of the hospital. Please pray also, its really important. Wish you safe delivery IJN. God bless you Stella, this is my first comment on your blog.

    my dear Sentinel hospital oke - afar is very good. The doctor is a very good gyno. he goes extra mile in his job and also he has a fear of God. i stay in okota as well sentinel is not far from you home. just sit down and think about all the hospital been mentioned just select one or u try general hospital isolo. you have to be prayerful during this period. take care.

    Well,if u r around ogba,ikeja,esp d lady on adeniyi jones,we can hook up,i stay dere too,akinlaguda by vulcanizer bstop,u can quietly go AB10 hospital on collage rd,d guy is perfect,with a foreign starndard,my baby is 6months old,i had ha dere,and so many more pipo I knw,pls pls pls don't , dare go to mother and child,i wasted 80k for rubish antenatal dt almost finished me,dont near dia gate,beta to AB,can gv u my contct,will take u dere,pls I beg u again,no near dt mother and child oooo,AB10 is very ok and affordable u wount believe,check me out on fb,we can hook up,atleast I'm 3yrs old in lagos
