    3. LOL, SDK forget gist, having artificial nails on is just like having your real nails extended. You can do absolute anything with it. The green thing you are seeing there, what causes it is, when the artificial nail doesnt cover ur real nail, water enters and changes the colour to green. Now if the person fixing your nails doesn't know his/her job, be sure to be treating your nails before fixing, otherwise, what you see is what you get

      Delete
    4. I don't agree with u, infection is d cause of dat greenish color u're seeing. Fixing finger nails is not hygienic, it's better u grow u're natural nails than fixing.

  3. SDK. You mean you don't fix nails? #bbmsurprisedface#
That's not caused by fixing nails, it's water infection, it happens to some people who wash a lot, it can be treated but very difficult to heal. Washing may have to be done using gloves.
Canesten Solution used over a period of 2 or 3 months will heal it totally.
Fixing of nails may aggravate it esp if nail treatment isn't applied while fixing.

    2. I've fixed about six or seven times in my life and if I don't remove them after a week, I MUST fall sick. I believe it's because of the germs that get in and all that. I have a friend who is addicted to fixing her nails. Atm she has no human nails. They're just a blackened hardness on her fingers and surprisingly she still fixes! Na wa!

  5. It isn't rotten or infected nails, this is a pic of when they are dissolving the false nails.. yes, it's true there are terrible infections that happen as a result of fixing false nails but this picture isn't a true depiction. Cheers Stella x

  6. That looks nasty, it looks like fungus infested nails. That is unhygienic, there is no way the owner cleans body parts with nails long like this. And I can tell fecal matter is trapped after doing number 2 every time after using the bathroom.

  14. Stella, this is why I love you. You always discuss 'important' issues.

I do not trust women who wear these attachment to their hands. Because it is unhygienic. I've already said I will not eat or drink from anyone who wears these nails, and I am sticking to this principle.
I wear my nails manicured short, without addition and sometimes I have to put in the extra effort to clean under the nails (using finger brush etc to get under the crevices of my nail) and when it gets a little longer I have to constantly scrub because it's a task to keep long nails from attracting dirt.
If its such a chore to sometimes keep our own nails aesthetically clean, think about the nastiness kept under these witch nails.

"Both polish and remover contain acetone, which can cause everything from headaches and dizziness to nervous system and reproductive problems. Polishes are infamous for containing the “Big Three” hazardous chemicals: toluene, which can damage nervous and reproductive systems; formaldehyde, which can causes rashes and asthma; and dibutyl phthalate, which has been shown to affect sexual organ development in male fetuses.

Artificial nails often contain methacrylate, a chemical that is banned in Canada, but still found in many salons because it’s cheaper than its alternatives. It can cause the technician numbness and pain" (Globe and Mail, Jul 14 2012).

Most of these salons use products with MMA, which is banned in most countries because it is toxic not only to the nail bed but to internal health. They use products with MMA because it is cheaper and lets face it these places that are popular do use MMA products because its how they keep up with the demand.

If you are interested read all about MMA here: http://humanservices.alberta.ca/documents/WHS-PUB_ch062.pdf

Anonymous 9:31 pm, don't be mad at me honey, I'm not the one walking around with toxins on my hands pretending to be fashionable. I pride myself on the clean look, all that witchery is just too nasty. It looks nasty and it attract filth.

  15. This person is actually very silly for fixing on nails that are infected. I fix my nails and i hae had infection on them and i made sure to treat themvery well. I stayed off nail fixing for about three months and made sure my nails where back to a very healhty state before refixing. Also, i made sure not to make them too long and leave them in for a long time because this lets germs breed between ur real nails and the fake nails. She didnt take propoer care of her nails and treat them and she tried to cover them again with acrylic but whatever is hidden shall always come to light... lmaoooo. she needs to treat and nails and leave fake nails for one year sef

I believe it is simple, fix it short but classy, clean them regularly, apply treatment on them when at the saloon, change them regularly but never force them out.some ladies can make a guy turned off with their artificial dirty looking nails,I see some and I get upset. As for the 'yansh' I'm able to wash mine well o,maybe because I keep them short.I wash and clean, fix my necklace and all so I guess with time you get use to it

SDK,why are u stylishly asking us not to cuss u out?

How come u have particles in your yansh,u dey sit for ground?

Ok,back to the matter, I wrap my nails and it def does not look like this.
I thing its fungal infection, you need tp apply nail treatment to the nails regularly,I do mine.

When I feel my nails are weak,ii take a break by cutting it and treating it.

This person probably doesn't apply treatment, has a sensitive body or may just be unlicky.

@ SDK,please find a permamemt solution to the particles in ur yansh, inugo!

I started fixing my nails during service year due to boredom and lack of what to do with my money...and the lady fixes it well..so i go there every now and then to fix. now, ur nails dnt hav to look like mother gagooks own for u to look classy. I fix my nails just a little longer than my natural nails and i can do everythin wit them..tho its always hard wen u just start fixing.. so d simple rule is- make d nails moderate and classy. Those claws i see on some ladies just make me scared of pissing them off, before they use dem to gourge one's eyes out. Lol. So, stalla, if u do ur nails at a nice place, not all those ita sikira road side places oh, u will love em!
