Obasanjo's Son Gbenga Is Lonely.

Gbenga Obasanjo, the second son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo is not in the best of mood at the moment.
Gbenga has become almost a recluse as most people now avoid him…..why you ask?

Okay,read on!

Gbenga has been seeking for that happiness which took a flight, ever since he made a revelation which startled the entire nation some years back. .

It will be recalled that in 2008, he had made a shocking revelation about his father and former father-in-law, Otunba Alex Onabanjo.
(use google please)

Prior to that, Gbenga was engaged in a cold war with his father for a couple of years. Thus, when he made the revelation, the relationship between him and his father was severed.
Save for his mother, Remilekun and a handful of close friends, most people have decided to keep Gbenga at arms’ length.

Moreover, Gbenga is also alleged to be enmeshed in a silent war with his elder sister, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello and so deep has this feud gotten that the two siblings hardly talk to each other.

To aggravate Gbenga’s situation, he was ejected from his duplex residence in Ladipo Bateye Close, GRA, Ikeja, where he used to live with his former wife.
The building owned by his father, has since been leased out.

Gbenga who is now resident  in the United States. was on a visit to Nigeria during the last Christmas festiva but kept kept his visit very private and brief.

According to those who should know, His only source of comfort is the constant love and support he gets from his mother, and the occasional attention he gets from his father.

Gbenga is alleged to be searching for true happiness and friendship from people. ...it is also alleged to be............well them say pepper no too rest!

Perhaps you could be the friend he seeks ? .culled

  1. Yes i remember that story, he accused his father of sleeping with his wife and also that his wife's father was also sleeping with his wife. It was a very big story then. I heard some of this big men sleep with their daughters. Rotten story. Kai!

  4. Stella, this story no be true o. Gbenga is very ok. When people go under ground, Nigerians start saying you are broke. Broke ke? Yes, he might not be too happy. Who would be considering what the guy has been through. From bad family beginnings, to a messed up father, to a fucked wife who had kids for you and now a baby mama. Common, how many of you can go through this and be sane. But he's not broke....take that.

I hope he finds true freindship and isn't too afraid to once again open his heart up, cause usually people that go through things like this find it heard to trust again.

  16. The story didn't say anything about him being broke. He was ejected from the building because it belongs to his father. I don't think his father will be collecting rent from him, the father was probably mad at him and put him out.

    3. @anonymous 1:33pm, before correcting another person's comment, make sure u have a defence mechanism. Ngwa defend urself! What is the meaning of "pepper no too rest"? U don't know. Let me clear u on this, it simple means that person is broke but not totally broke. It is a creole language(broken or pigin English) phrase used to replace being broke.

      Delete
    4. Creole is 'broken French' not English.

I hope he heals from whatever turmoil he is going through. If his allegations are true, he's been to hell and back. This journey of life can take is on some real rocky roads with deep ditches and all.
