The Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Victor Ochei has resigned from office in other to avoid being impeached at the next sitting of the house.

Ochei resigned in what may appear as an understanding between him and the Governor of the state, Emmanuel Uduagahan ..The Speaker has handed over to his Deputy to replace him as the Delta Speaker on Monday.
If is not Impeachment this days, it is resignation... Which way Nigeria???

ReplyDeleteI really do not care if u resign pls n pls kindly tell your governor to pay the bursary he owes delta state graduates who have been called to the bar. 100k which will later be reduced to 98k by God knows who! is not a joke. Some of our parents borrowed money to pay for our law school fees which goes up each year like there is a statutory provision that States so.....we are 4months at the bar n still no news about our money, you started the good work by giving to our predecessors pls pls continue in that line n make it happen for us too.

He had to resign so as to enable him still run for Gubernatorial election (Delta state governor 2015)if he had been impeached would have been what i call/term "bad market".
