  19. This power problem wasn't solved with all the oil boom money of the 70s, or with the Iraq war boom money of the 80s/90s.

Now the same abokis and their parners in crime, who for decades, squandered chance after chance (in BILLIONS) to solve our chronic problems are crying foul. They expect GEJ to solve, in a few years (and under the scrutinising/criticising glare of social media), what they couldn't solve in decades, with far much money and no social media or free press! They are only crying because its not their snouts in the trough feeding fat. This is why I want APC to win so that they can show once and for all how useless/bigoted/and even more corrupt they are.

    1986 ko 1986 ni.

  23. You can't survive in lagos/Nigeria-wwithout generator;its more reliable than PHCN/NEPA;Honda generator for life lol;there is even fuel scarcity which makes your generator beg for black market; we have oil and yet we suffer to get it;the way forward for Nigeria is to forget we have this things and survive like Lagos state;which doesn't have oil but its better in infrastructure than oil States, then we can have a new Nigeria.A lot of focus on oil, both youths, adults, children are all fighting for oil, and we forget other growing sectors in the country!

  30. The obvious and true fact is that the light problem in nigeria won't change.our leaders are fond of leaving the important parts of our country dat needs fixin and focus on d least important...so annoyin.abeg I wan change my nationalty mtcheww.

  31. The issue is building the grids across the country to get the power situation solved. They want to do it all at once, which is an astronomical task. It is a slow process to electrify a large country, but had they started little by little back then they would have completed it a long time ago.

The other issue is the vast amount of people who are poor. Who will pay for the service once it is completed? Again, had they addressed the poverty issue back then and created industries that generated income decades after decades then they would have the people to pay for the light.

China was a dirt poor outpost 35 years ago, comparable to the poorest African nation. However, their leaders envisioned a better and more prosperous country, and they have created it. I wonder if there is any Nigerian politician who has the purity of spirit to desire a Nigeria where every single Nigerian can live in a peaceful and harmonious nation, with prosperity that is reflected for all. I wish them the best

  32. The very first day I touched down in abu dhabi from lagos I cried bitterly because I was wondering why I let a green nation to a desert for greener pasture, now I thank God because I have no regrets at all... It is a shame that our country is godless and above all we don't have love.Nigeria should divide because her marriage is not working... Nigerian youths please if you can, leave that country for good nothing good will come soon from those old devils...
