Fatal Accident On Eko Bridge Leaves 15 People Dead

According to the Blog Visitor who sent this in.....She says

''There was a fatal accident on Eko Bridge just after midnight....well early hours of this morning,my friend stopped to help but people were shouting  ''Ebola'' ''Ebola'' because there was blood everywhere''.

RIP to the dead.

I also hear that Morgues have stopped collecting dead bodies of
any sort so that brings in the question of ''WHERE WILL DEAD BODIES BE DEPOSITED''?

These people that died will probably be rejected as well.

Oh God,send help!!

    2. Oriegwu or odiegwu means incredible.

    3. Oriegwu is an exclamation in igbo language partly owerri dialect to be precise! Which can be translated to mean "it's terrible" or "too good" in English. Basically, it represents the two opposite phrase! Gegenteil!

    1. Why don't you all go back to your states and stop stretching the resources of lagos state.Don't give me that crap about tax payers money as I am sure majority on this blog have never paid tax in their lives.Lagos should build more morgues from its own allocation to take care of all Nigerians abi. When they say give lagos more money because of its former status nobody cares to listen not to talk of support.

  32. I was at the scene of the accident and involved in the rescue process. I counted 33 victims but none was confirmed dead as at the time LASAMBUS ambulances arrived. Only one of the victims was gasping for breath before he was taken to the hospital. All victims had several degrees of injuries and deep cuts; fractured legs, arms, a particular guy had deep cuts all over and one finger chopped off. It was a gory scene. The CMD Lagos Island General Hospital Dr. Akin was also on ground. It was unbecoming and unhelpful of the Nigeria Police that they could not offer one of their vans for the rescue before the arrival of more ambulances despite the fact that there were at least 3 police vans on ground. The nurses were also at sea on which hospital to convey the victims to as doctors are on strike but for the direction of Dr. Akin who told them where to go. Again, no life was recorded lost till I left the site at about 2am and all victims were evacuated.
