      I am writing this out of fear nd uncertainty. My man proposed to mi yesterday. I said yes but I av been having doubts. He is Igbo from Anambra State nd I am Yoruba. ‎We re in love, my man is amazing to me, a good Christian nd I met his parents once‎. They re nice people but I didn't hav the opportunity to know them well‎

      My worry is I hav heard so many stories about Igbo in-laws nd inasmuch as I love my man, I don't wanna suffer or be treated as Ofe manu when I marry him‎

Forget all the myths about marrying from here or there and go into your marriage on a positive note and with an open mind. If your prospective in laws didn't approve of you, you would have known from your encounter with them. Be yourself and treat your new family as you would want to be treated and you will be fine. Don't be anxious or bend backwards to please, it will come off like you are desperate to be accepted. Also don't start what you can't continue.
