Desmond Olusola Elliott For Lagos House Of Assembly 2015

I believe in the saying ''Be the change that you seek''

Nollywood actor Desmond Elliott probably believes in this saying too and has decided to step aside from acting into Politics in 2015 to effect that change.

When the time comes,he needs your votes and prayers.....Will you give him your vote Lagosians?
I am tired of seeing the same old faces looting the treasury and doing nothing.

Desmond has the profile of a serious person and his sojourn as an actor has not witnessed any scandal that should disqualify him.

I want Change and I will use my platform to campaign for him when the time comes...After all ''Olusola Tiwa Ni..''

So tey, people didn't believe you are an "omo isale eko gan gan"

Now, you are Sola. To penetrate Lagos voters.

We go way back sha, so you have my support. Afterall, you can't do worse than the blockheads currently sitting in the House.

Things must really be bad in Nigeria's entertainment industry sha.

    3. This Desmond guy surely knows how to exploit his yoruba roots to the maximum. Why didn't he go back to Ilah his mother's hometown in delta where he has always associated himself with all these years. When he dropped out in Unijos,he remembered he is a Lagosian to gain admission to a high barrier dept of economics. This is somebody who rejected a cheque book from a defunct bank in VGC because his middle name "olusola" reflected on it,obviously he didn't want people especially the ibo marketers to know he is Yoruba. He looks like an opportunist to me.

  6. Nollywood is no longer paying again so they want to all go into politics to mk more. Stella I can't root for anyone, all of them usually have good intentions but when they get in, its as they are dipped into the blood of corruption, they forget all their plans and want to steal cash the would make all their generation rich for life. If we the masses demand they are brought to book when they didn't do what was demanded am sure others we sit up but CORRUPTION has so eaten into the system that know one can talk even when you know your right. Wish them the best

  18. The hustle is real!
Yes , we need that drastic change and we are tired of the old worn out greedy faces.

However, the bit that remains a mystery is why they all suddenly embraced politics, like it is the vogue now or is it some form of competition amongst our Nollywood actors? time will tell * sips mocha*

  33. I'm sure Desmond is a nice guy. At least he comes across as one. HOWEVER, he is not qualified to lead a fortune 500 organization talk less of an entire constituency.
Let's stop voting leaders in for sentimental reasons. He has even made to political decision to add "Olushola" to his name, knowing that some gullible people will vote him in just because of his tribe. That's the type of nonsensical politics we are used to in Nigeria. The reason why nothing works. For once, let us vote people into office based on their QUALIFICATIONS. Let's question people's resume for once before voting them into office. What have they done in the past to qualify them for the job? What is their educational background? What ideas do they have to move the nation forward from the rot its in? How do they plan to deal with poverty, hunger, corruption and hundreds of problems the country is facing? A lack of clear, sensible and attainable ideas on how to tackle the problems is a strong indication that the candidate is "Unqualified" to lead. For God's sake we voted GEJ in because he had no shoes. A lot of Nigerians thought based on his background that he will be sympathetic to the plight of the common man. Truth is, he's the most unqualified president Nigeria has ever had. The man is clueless on so many levels it frightens me that he's leading a country of over 100million people. I still cringe to myself when I remember his interview on CNN. He couldn't even construct good sentences! And he's president of the most populous nation in Africa!!!!
Enough of unqualified people abeg. That country is filled with more brilliant minded individuals. Lawyers that graduated at the top. The GREAT IFE has produced more brilliant minded people than the entire people in the last three presidential administrations. So all these actors and musicians should please face their craft. Let the people with visions and ideas and political science background, lawyers the kind of Gani Fawehinmi and his likes come forward. Let them have debates on what they intend to do if voted into office, let them bring forward their ideas to combat poverty in Nigeria. And then let us vote INTELLIGENTLY. Not for political, religious or other sentimental reasons...but using our common senses like the enlightened society that we are.
