''Yes today is my birthday

A new day has started.

I have aged one more year today.

Thank You Lord for giving me another year of my life.

There are so many thoughts to me on this special day.

For me, my birthday is a time when I remind myself about how much I have to be grateful. It is a day where I think about the good I have been given and thank God for it.

Each birthday brings me closer to the day......... to the time......... I will meet my God. I have no idea when that time will be. Is it scary? Yes; But........ don't I need that reminder? Isn't that something that is safe to think about (at least) once a year?.

Each birthday is an opportunity for me......... an opportunity for sober reflection....... for introspection. A chance to look inside myself and see where I want to be and take the right steps to get there. It's easy to forget but I have one day a year that I can make a little more spiritually elevated. Today can be a little different. It's not a special day for everyone else. It is my day. My day to make special...... amidst the mundane, in the middle of the regular routine....... and use that day to the fullest, to start making postive changes, and to take steps in the right direction.

To SDKers, I love you all, am so happy to be part of the family. Stella I thank God the day I found your blog.

Having you was the most beautiful thing in my life. I have been through alot since you left me. I couldn't hold back tears every single night when these thoughts run through my mind..........

The smile on our faces the first time we met, how we play like kids,how we smile and laugh at nothing, how we walk around your school, the smile on your face each time we are together and how you scream my name, how you rest and sleep on my shoulder, how you prepare my meals, how we cried together the day I was travelling, how I cried the day you travelled back, how i swore to myself never to hurt or leave you, the time we spent together, how i hate to see you in pain, how you love me despite all my shortcomings..........

honey please come back, these thoughts have killed me more than a million times.

I rather die than hurt you again.

I promise you with my life to always be there for you, never to hurt you, never to cause you pain, never to make you cry, never to disrespect you and never to cheat on you.

As I add one year today. I thank You God for believing in me, knowing my potential, am most grateful.

God please give me the grace to save people from sadness and pain, and to be the reason why there are smiles on people faces.......... this is just my humble birthday wish, as I blow my candles.

How Happy I would be, if that comes to be.

P.s  I never wanted to celebrate today, maybe because the person I wished to celebrate with, is not with me. But my twin sister insisted on going out, since am the one who sponsors our birthday celebrations, so I choose the ophaneage. Me and some friends will be visiting two or more ophaneages with some items.

I also have 10k worth or recharge card for my fellow blog visitors, six #1500 and five #200. Though i have sent two #1500, already to two blog visitors who are special to me, I will keep one #1500 for the last person to wish me a happy birthday.
