Gov Fayose's Exclusive Inauguration Gists And Pics.

'' Here's the gist from the inauguration of Peter Ayodele Fayose, who was sworn on the 16th of October 2014, as the executive governor of Ekiti state. I must say that it was quite a unique event and awesome altogether.

Fayose arrived the Stadium in this car. And it was the highlight of the moment. #Epic

The activity kicked off on Wednesday the 15th of October. So many people traveled in from far and wide to witness the colourful event. As friends and associates of the governor ensured that no stone was left unturned in preparedness for the day. Wednesday evening the 15th of October was the pre inaugural dinner party. King sunny Ade was on the band stand to thrill the audience, as well as notable PDP executives who flew in from across the country to honour one of their own.

The Ekiti people played host to the likes of Alao Akala and his wife, ex governor Ladoja, the minister of works, Musiliu Obanikoro, the south west PDP king pin himself, Buruji Kasamu, and other PDP chieftains played exceptional roles as host of the evening.

Many other dignitaries all danced to the melodious tune from KSA's piper. Fayose himself was up and about ensuring that all was well. He also, in his usual unassuming character, thrilled the guests as he mounted the podium with his colleagues and friends to spray KSA some cool cash. Not forgetting his amiable wife Mrs Feyisara Fayose, who was also present with their lovely sons.

On the swearing in day itself, lots of the PDP governors arrives Ekiti, as well as ministers to witness the swearing-in ceremony. Although Mr President was conspicuously absent he was duly represented by his deputy, Nnamadi Sambo.

Present also was Mimiko who just crossed over to the PDP, the ex minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode was also present, the  governor of cross river state was there, and many more other governors and ministers.

The swearing-in proper was quite an intriguing one because of the circumstances in which Fayose was re-elected into office. The most significant that was pondered was that, exactly eight years ago on the 16th of October to be precise, Fayose was unequivocally removed from office. And eight years later, he was yet again sworn in as the governor of the same Ekiti state.

If that was sheer coincidence, then explain this. In the history of Nigeria, no gubernatorial candidate has ever won an election or re-election by over throwing an incumbent governor. Fayose now holds the record as the first and only candidate so far in the history of Nigeria, to win against the incumbent governor twice.

First he won the Ekiti gubernatorial race by throwing out ex governor Niyi Adebayo. Before Fayose could complete his tenure after Adebayo, he was impeached and Segun Oni assumed office. Then Fayemi threw Oni out of office four years ago, and now Fayose wins against Fayemi...making it the second time that he would unseat a seating governor. These was the highlight of the ceremony as the crowd gave a standing ovation and welcomed back their chosen one amidst loud cheering.."Oshoko one..Oshoko one"

In his acceptance speech after the swearing in, Governor Fayose was appreciative of the Ekiti people for giving him a second chance and for showing him that indeed God is with the Ekiti people. In his speech he made a pertinent declaration about the crisis that befell him after he was maliciously evicted from office eight years ago..he described it as 'vindictiveness' from his enemies.  He said that ever since he left office there has been no peace in Ekiti State because they wronged him. And that when he declared he would rerun for office, God told him that he had to forgive everyone who wronged him or instigated his unjustified removal from office.

By forgiving them, he said peace would be restored into Ekiti. He openly declared forgiveness and the people cheered in accordance.

A reception followed swiftly as Ebenezer Obey and Yinka Ayefele thrilled the guests once again as they enjoyed their refreshments. It was an interesting and a remarkable outing for Fayose and his family. He also didn't forget to thank his amiable prayer warrior wife Feyisara, for allowing God to use her to declare prophetically to the Ekiti people that her husband would be back in office. He ended by thanking God for bringing it to pass.

Congratulations to Governor Fayose and his deputy.  Most importantly, however, the Ekiti people are eager for a soothing respite in every capacity in the state. And we pray and hope that yet again, that you Governor Ayodele Fayose would fulfil your promise to them.
Up Ekiti kete.''

    1. I'm sure they meant in Ekiti state. Meanwhile he mentioned the stomach SA as a shade on the opponent for attributing his victory to the mere sharing of bags of rice, when they themselves shared cooked rice and recharge cards o. So it was a sacarstic statement that the media is now over flogging.
