President Jonathan Please Read Aisha Falode's Memo On Son's Death.

Aisha Falode's efforts to nail her sons killer is heartbreaking, especially because no one has paid her any attention...

This letter should catch President Jonathan's attention because it is  addressed directly to him...and you.

We hope that the President shows concern by responding to her either privately or publicly.

If the President Ignores this heart breaking memo from a grieving mother who has lost her only son,then.....
Let us watch and wait!

OPEN LETTER TO NIGERIANS 8 MONTHS AFTER MY SON TOBA WAS MURDERED IN DUBAI

It is with a heavy heart that I read about the death of the son of Chief Alameiyeseigha on the streets of Dubai; an incident that immediately jolted me back in time thanks to the bizarre similarities to that of my son as regards “cause of death”.

My son was said by the Dubai authorities to have jumped down from a balcony, dismissing it as "suicide", same with Chief Alameiyeseigha’s son.
I am saddened that this has happened despite my nationwide campaign to stop this happening AGAIN by putting all relevant government agencies on notice, in vain.

For record emphasis, my son was thrown from the balcony of a 17th floor apartment in Manchester Tower in Dubai. A Saudi boy resident in Dubai confessed to the murder; he had my son’s blood on his t-shirt, he had my son’s blood on his knuckles and boasted about serving time for 25 years in prison if it comes to the worst.

His murderer has a name-Faisal Aldakmary Al-Nasser.

There were witnesses to this murder, they have written statements verbally and orally corroborating what the murderer said. I have put all this together to make this easy for the Nigerian government to help me get justice for my son in Dubai.

I warned the Nigerian government that Nigerian youths were being killed in Dubai on a daily basis as confirmed  by our embassy in Dubai. I also warned parents about the danger of Dubai.
I also stated repeatedly, that if justice was not gotten for my son that another murder will happen. Indeed there have been many more after my son although not mentioned because they do not have a voice. But now, there is one so close to government that has been struck.

I did not have to be a soothsayer to know this. Many more will happen until we get Justice for Toba Falode, and all those who have been murdered in cold blood in Dubai.

We cannot stand by and watch our youths lives being down played over and above “collaboration and partnership” with a country that hates us with so much passion, that they are cutting down the lives of our young ones in cold blood crudely and viciously and yet we seek “partnership and collaboration” in investment with this same country.

Our ambassador in the UAE, Ambassador Ibrahim  Auwalu, must be called back to Nigeria to answer to every young soul that has been lost to Dubai unaccounted for due to his lack of responsibility in office.
The Foreign Ministry also, must be asked questions on what they have done about Toba Falode’s case 8 months after. It took Israel less than 48 hours to act on the loss of their 3 youths.

8 months after Toba Falode’s murder, we are still waiting on the Nigerian government to give us any kind of reaction on the loss of a young life-Toba Falode in Dubai.
Even after submitting every evidence, our protest, police reports corroborating the fact that my son was murdered, we still have gotten no response at all from the Nigerian government.

Take a queue from Israel.

And the Nigerian Government for once should start acting like a big country with so much might and power that it is in the continent and indeed in the world and go after Dubai for justice for every young soul and every Nigerian life that has been cut short in Dubai.

We send our sympathy and condolences to DSP Alamieyeseigha.

The family and friends of their son, we empathise with them because we have been through and are still going through it and it is nothing we wish for any parent which was our concern from the start.
This, is one death too many. May it not happen again.

Aisha Falode.

    1. Hmmmm. Mr Reuben Abati please do something fast. You guys are busy with 2015, we know, but this is as serious, if not more. It will be grave injustice if the matter isn't followed up by our govt. In the mean time parents should withdraw their wards from Dubai. That's all.

  2. Oh the torture this Mother would go through everyday, let Justice be served so she can Find closure. I can only imagine the pains she's in.
If the boy confessed to the murder, what's preventing his arrested and prosecution? All this while I thought nobody owned up or was caught.

    1. This woman ought to be mourning whilst our govt takes up the responsibility of fishing out Tobas killers and ensuring this case is pursued to a logical conclusion . Toba should not die in vain, when will Nig. start caring for its citizens? Sad!

    2. Yea Nuvi. In the first instance the kids present on the night Toba was killed told the TRUTH, however their account of events changed when the Dubai authorities manipulated their recounts for the sake of the 'rich kid' Fazal, that was involved in it. It's a long thing and it breaks my heart as a mother too.

  5. I urge you to lobby your local MP to continuing demanding from the Nigerian government their actions to resolve this matter. Keep up your campaign going by using social media to demand actions from both governments. Contact their High Commission in Nigeria with all the facts and evidences you had and demand actions whereby they refused to do nothing then get more people to protest for actions to resolve your concerns. Lastly, see if you can get NGO that has contact with other pressure groups in Dubai that can raise this issue with their Dubai Authority to demand action and resolve your concern to a satisfactory conclusion. Goodluck.

  11. SDK you still want to watch and wait? Let me remind you that it took over three months for your darling president to meet the parents of the kidnapped Chibok school girls, and that happened after Malala came into the country and asked him to do so..to do what millions of Nigerians had been asking/begging him to do. Sorry, but if Aisha Falode doesn't reach out to a well known international figure, this Memo is dead on arrival on Jona's desk.

I said it! No more masters for me in Dubai. This woman just confirmed it. Imagine oh! That's how their immigration people look so scornful at the entry point.
Arabs are wicked! And they don't send you if you are not Arab. Even if na oyibo, they will do same.
I pray these people get justice. And to all foreign students choose ur spouses well. If u mix with the wrong crowd they f*ck u up.

I live in tel-aviv Israel , that country is security conscious it wouldn't have taken them two days to fish out the killer , there is security camera attached to major roads and houses in the city of tel -aviv ,very small country but security wise those three children killed by the Palestine were the reason for the recent war between them

I have been withholding my views about Tobi's death because I have been thinking of how best to craft my controversial comment without being misunderstood.

While we wait for or on the government to do something, I believe the regular Nigerians can "force the hands of justice" by boycotting the UAE and all it stands for. For starters if all Nigerians want to support Aisha Falode's cause, let Nigerians boycott Emirates and Etihad Airlines, and anything else that has to do with the UAE. Let their planes fly empty from Nigeria - whether going to or through Dubai /Abu Dhabi.

IF people are genuinely pained, we need to move beyond social media, blog comments, etc. and make this sacrifice.

As we are pointing at government to do something, 3 fingers are pointing at us to wield our own power as well.

  44. @ chocolate gold....that is some wise option....truly if all Nigerians boycott UAE airlines for 1 week, things will happen concerning these cases...but will Nigerians inconvenience themselves for 1 week to help someone else???...are we that selfless a people?...we need to force the govts of Nigeria & UAE to do something, we need to understand that as a people, we are stronger than any govt or social class...a united people...lets take a cue from the students in Hong Kong...even in a capitalist country that monitors her citizens social media access, the youths and students were still able to lockdown the country's financial sector for more than a week...our future is in our hands, wake up Nigerians and put works to your faith.....
