Bill Cosby Sued For Alleged Under-Age Sexual Abuse

Bill Cosby is being sued for sexual assault by a woman who says the US comedian molested her when she was 15.

Judy Huth's lawsuit alleges that Cosby molested her at the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles in 1974 and told her to lie about her age.

Cosby's lawyer had no immediate comment on the accusation.
Cosby, 77, has faced a series of renewed allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted more than a dozen women.

He has not been charged in connection with any of the allegations, which his lawyers have described as "discredited" and "defamatory".

Ms Huth's lawsuit says she and a 16-year-old friend met Mr Cosby on a film set and were later invited to his tennis club, where they were given alcohol before being taken to the Playboy mansion.

There, Ms Huth alleges that she was forced to carry out a sexual act against her will. The lawsuit states that the teenagers were told to lie about their age, and say they were 19 if asked.
It says the incident caused Ms Huth "psychological damage and mental anguish". She is seeking unspecified damages.

The claims in the lawsuit are the first in which a woman has alleged that Cosby assaulted her when she was under age, the Associated Press reported.
In 2005 a woman who accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her brought a lawsuit against him, but the case was settled out of court.

The new suit came a day after Cosby resigned from the board of trustees of Temple University in Philadelphia, where he was once a student, amid the allegations.
Several broadcasters have shelved projects with Mr Cosby, including NBC and Netflix.BBC

This is a classic example of WHEN THE PAST COMES HAUNTING!.....Until he speaks up,all the women he allegedly raped will keep coming out.
This is really messy and a big pity!
I hope he doesnt try to do anything to himself in the face of these allegations and keeping quiet.

I wonder who will show up next week with a new allegation.

    1. What took these people so long to come out. If Cosby is really guilty, fine he should face the consequences but if I was the attorney, I would even listen to a 1974 or so case. It's rubbish

Shut your stupid mouth.....it is cos of our mindset like this that make women silent.....if you read all the stories the women where in a vulnerable position and they did not think anyone would believe them......we have read stories on this blog from our own naija women who did not speak out early.......I don't care if he is 100 let him suffer for taking advantage of women...let him go to court and defend himself cos not speaking out on time is not a sign you are lying.....thank God u are not the judge....I pray this kind of thing happens to your daughter......chauvinistic pig....

    1. Even if it's true, Statute of limitations has set in. He cannot be prosecuted for those allegations. So why did the women wait till this late. Why didn't they speak up when evidence could be collected?

In the face of these allegations Cosby preserved equanimity
When the past comes hunting Cosby shouldn't follow the path of Robin Williams...

  24. Oh Bill! Dear Cosby! Silence is never golden in moments such as this. All these women can't be entirely wrong of the allegations they've leveled against you. Either address the allegations one after the other or sue their sorry asses for all the wrong accusations. Ko ju be lo!

  27. Stella, white people always take their time to rubbish their victims. These people did not come up all these years. they just want to see that Bill Cosby ends up in jail. That is their aim. I like Bill Cosby, hope all what they say about him is not true because i love his program very much.

he should make an announcement to end those rubbishing his years of accomplishment

  29. Seriously, i'm beginning to believe this ladies. That he ran the Bill Cosby show, which upheld values and all, dosen't mean he's infallible.
All these women, can't have been paid to tell the same story.
His silence in this case, is a big admission of guilt.

  30. I cant find myself believing any of these fables/fabus etc... America where for the sake of money a child can deny his mother? The law just happens to favour women there and they do well to capitalize on it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. He should just speak up already

    ReplyDelete
  32. Negative. He settled OUT of court with them in order to draw any attention to it. What does that translate to? He paid them to keep their mouth shut. The only problem is that he didn't pay everyone. Now, the other people he "assaulted" are coming out of the woodworks.
