President Jonathan Condoles Govt And People Of Pakistan Over Attack On Peshawar

STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE

PRESIDENT JONATHAN CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACK ON PESHAWAR, CONDOLES GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN

On behalf of the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan extends heartfelt condolences to the

Government and People of Pakistan on the loss of over 140 lives in yesterday’s terrorist attack on Peshawar.

President Jonathan assures Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan that Nigeria stands in full solidarity with them as they mourn the victims of yesterday’s heinous attack and strive to give succour to the injured and the bereaved.

The President wholly condemns the brutal, savage, senseless and totally unjustifiable killing of innocent students and staff during the attack.

He believes that the atrocity in Peshawar and recurring terrorist crimes across the world strongly reinforce the need for urgent action towards the formation of more  effective regional, continental and global alliances against insurgency and violent extremism.

President Jonathan prays that God Almighty will comfort all the bereaved families of Peshawar and grant the injured speedy recovery.

    2. Stella, I was wondering why you didn't make a post about it. Poor children, I just couldn't help but cry. Do you know they burnt the principal and made the children watch? These extreme Muslims are just anti-Christ. That's why I can't stand Muslim or a Muslim president like Buhari. If this happens in Nigeria, a lot of people will be calling for the head of the president. It's not easy to fight terrorism and people that don't condemn it outrightly will not rule Nigeria. Taliban, Alquaeda, Al-Shabab, Boko Haram, APC are all the same to me.....PH GAL

  6. Stella, I have some observations abt the Xmas give away.
You gave a clear instruction about it but you ended up not following it.
I recollect Manna Bee saying she Cldnt comment because of low battery yet she was picked.
People that actually followed instructions and were within the first 200 comments were neglected.
Ed dreams started commenting not too long ago. He's not faithful but a hustler. He's bn picked on LIB for the 100k.
I've never seen any Madam Pam or Yomi gate until Sunday. Yet they were picked.
This is not fair. I know how I took great care to follow your instructions and I've been here since the story of the serial husband and madam dolphin.
I know everybody cannot win but then it's painful to be over looked after going through the stress of commenting.

  7. Stella d way u hoard my comments on dis blog ia begining to irritate me...I had to wake up by dis time just to tender my grievance..It gave me a sleepless night..Recently i found out most of my comments are missing especially replies..How can someone make up to 10 comments in a post and wont see even one? Even to hail people or reply those who mentioned my name i wont see them...It will look as if i ignored them..This is killung my vibe and it going to force me to sop commenting..Whats d need of taking ir time to write a comment dat wont get published?
In dat Stella's givaway post yesterday i madebalot of comments there but cant even find one...not even one... D same thing happened at IHN,i only saw one comment i posted but my replies to others comment ended up in ur pot of stew...Why????
Even ur post about GOOD DEEDS few days ago, some of my comments went missing.. I dont normally complain anytime i did not see my comment but dat doesnt mean i'm happy about it..
Dont tell me my network witheld it bcos i usually get "Ur comment will be visible after approval" anytime i send my comment.
Biko stop killing my vibe..I dont want to be a silent reader or anonymous on dis blog..Dont force me to..

    3. Stella did same thing to me too and even the comment i made to rant about it also went missing. SDK, your pot of stew must be filled with so many "assorted meats" by now with all these comments that keep finding their way in there.

The one that even pained me most was the "good deed post" cos i actually wrote an epistle(for the first time on dis blog..lol) to appreciate all those people who have touched my life positively in one way or the other only for me to see that the comment wasnt published.....Lord of mercy, i felt so bad and that was when i decided to rant and that one too was no where to be found.

Stella, its unfair gaan ni. Pls, let it stop but that wont push me into being a silent reader or anonymous. Yes, i am that stubborn and addicted to this blog.

*make i no find this comment ooo*

  11. "..If I'm voted into power, within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement, and if I can't improve on power within this period, it then means I CANNOT DO ANYTHING EVEN IF I AM THERE FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS"
    - Goodluck Jonathan, Vanguard newspaper, 2011.

We agree with GEJ; it will be a disaster, and a waste of another four years for him to come back, as he said, he has nothing to offer the nation.

Let's vote a competent hand in.

Let's lift our fatherland out of shame, reproach, and backwardness.

The one that just broke me was the attack on a school....they burnt the principal to ashes and began to shoot all the students!
Suicide bombers entered classes filled with students and detonated!

    5. Chizoba what sometimes happens is that when there are too many comments on a post, once it gets to 200 comments, any subsequent comments go to the next page even if you reply directly under someone's comment. It's just the way the blog is configured, not a purposeful attempt by Stella to thwart anyone.
It has happened to me several times.

      Hope that helps.
