President Jonathan Commissions International Airport And Specialist Hospital In Bauchi

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport and Specialist Hospital in Bauchi.

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Airport was built by the Governor of Bauchi State, Governor Isa Yuguda to provide international gateway for export and Hajj operations.

President Jonathan while commissioning the airport, thanked the state government for the project which, according to him, was in line with the President’s transformation agenda.

He also stated that the Federal Government will assist by providing the required terminal infrastructure, the camps and the cargo terminals that will be used to export food produce.

The President also commissioned the newly built Bauchi Specialists Hospital, which he said was capable to handle special health cases that used to be taken out of the country for foreign medical attention.

Well done!

  4. People are saying this man is not working. How much work do we want him to? he should put food on everyone's table. One of the American's Presidents said don't ask what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. Let's do something to move this country forward. 12. And that's how Jonathan got his groove back. The 6 weeks extention has done him a lot of good.
Given him ample time to capture many more hearts.
Now there's less tension towards the elections as against 6weeks ago..
I am rooting for GEJ. Sadly I don't have my PVC to vote for him. No thanks to relocation.

  16. International airport in bauchi! Can Nigerians get less stupid please. There's the jos airport just 30 mins away. Of all the economic problems in bauchi, the state guvnor is irresponsible enough to waste funds on an airport when it would have made me sense to work out a plan with plateau state government that will enable them use the present jos airport. But again, wetin I know?

    1. Is jos bauchi? Are they not different states. Wtf is wrong with Ur likes?

    2. Oponu, in London alone there are 5 international airports if you count Stansted and Luton so wetin concern Bauchi with Jos Airport.

    3. As you rightly asked, the answer is You know nothing!

Enugu has an international airport, Asaba has a local airport. Enugu to Asaba is shorter than Bauchi to Jos and yet, they aren't complaining.

  17. Congrats to Bauchi people on the airport but we need better architectural designs. Check out here for sports news
