Senator Gbenga Ashafa Receives Landmark Endorsement From Igbo Community In Lagos East.‏

In the build-up to the 2015 elections, the Igbo community of South-Eastern Nigeria residing in various communities across Lagos East Senatorial District today endorsed Senator ‘Gbenga Ashafa’s candidacy for a second term in the senate come March 28, 2015.

The landmark endorsement which was unanimous came during a critical town hall meeting between the lawmaker and the Igbo community who also form part of his constituents at the Encounter House in Magodo area of Lagos.

Senator Ashafa who will be flying the flag of the APC in the March 28 National Assembly and Presidential elections used the occasion to solidify his assurance to the Igbo community that his second tenure would be marked with the promotion of policies that sought to advance the cause of social inclusion amongst adherents of all tribes and religions in the senatorial district.

Speaker after speaker during the event promised to mobilize the electorate towards the realization of a successful outing for all APC aspirants, across all tiers, in polling units located in Lagos East.
