  14. "Luke of Lies" like a pun on 'book of lies'?
Sounds like the usual saturated melodrama nollywood usually throws about with the 'usual suspects' cast. If it's not Alex Ekubo, it's Uti Nwachukwu, or one other clean shaven phonetics speaking actor. With a leading lady, maybe Tonto or one sassy Rukky wig-wearing Sanda, savvy clothes, trendy bumshots, matte lipsticks and confused accents. Same old unrealistic scenes. A girl came back from England and has an American accent or meets a governor's son.

    Bland and soporific!

Same old thing. Are we even creative in this country? I still prefer those osuofia and patience Ozokwor movies(not that I like them) but atleast they were not pretentious(even though they were fiming with cam coders). They were even more realistic than these try-hard movies full of over saturated love, work, office scenes and unlikely coincidences.

I'm certainly not watching. God bless his hustle. I know it's not easy but people should take the cue from that Jeta Amata guy that got good reviews from NewYork times based on a contemporary, powerful and compelling story line et hardwork. Let's stop limiting ourselves.
