Ex-Governor Of Anambra State Unable To Pay Rent, Ordered To Vacate Abuja Mansion.

Former Governor of Old Anambra State, Chief Jim Nwobodo, has been ordered to vacate his residence; a mansion in Maitama, Abuja over his inability to pay rent.

Nwobodo has reportedly not paid his rent and has also refused to vacate the building which is a six bedrooms mansion with one bedroom guest chalet and
two rooms’ boys quarters property situated at 24 Ona Crescent, Plot 768 Cadastral Zone A5, Maitama Abuja.

The owner of the property hired a lawyer, Obinna Ajoku , to evict him from the building  when Nwobo refused to pay the rent in question. After all entreaties failed, Ajoku filed a case against Chief Nwobodo at the Abuja High Court.

According to Thisday reports, an Abuja High Court led by Justice S. B. Belgore has ordered Nwobodo to relinquish the property to the owner, Adin-Miles International Limited.

The property owner claimed four reliefs against Nwobodo, stating that he should deliver vacant possession of the property, he was also ordered to pay N11 million as rent  and N3 million to renovate the premises.

Dear God, never let our secrets be exposed. Don't let enemies make jest of us. For this man that has fallen on hard times presumably, come to his aid. Forgive his sins and send help to him. This I ask in Jesus' mighty name.

  11. Good for him, I bet he now realises why his kids were complaining. Stella, I don't pity him one bit, he married a second wife and they both started spending money as if he has a money tree somewhere and when his other kids complained he ignored them, coupled with other rifts they had he disowned them..... if you see where his older wife lives you won't believe she had anything to do with this man.
The second wife has milked him dry, I bet he'll now opt for reconciliation. Old man wey no get brain.

    3. @Mrs D....looks like you were away for long. Please Google the stories. It has been from one disgrace to the other. The 4th was when he was ordered to return the transformers he moved from stadium to his homezone, way back. Big disgrace he turned out to be.

Recall, some years ago, out of revenge, during the Live Transmission of the PDP National Convention in Abuja, he picked the mic and betrayed Ekwueme, even after many party stalwarts had pleaded on him to forgive and forget, so the Igbos can move on. He blasted in Hausa language for a good number of minutes for his speech-time. The Hausas were hailing him. His first shocking present was the closure of Savannah Bank. Obasanjo na baaaaddddd man.

I know 3 elderly Igbo men that removed their shoes that night and swore for him, during the convention.
Mrs D this thing oburo kwa Ife ncha oo. O gbarokwa aka.
Just pray for him if you love him.

These rich men all they do is 2 spend millions on women, vacation and cars.. knowing dat tomorrow is pregnant.. 2 even help their family members and friends nah wahala.. Instead they give them peanuts..

  35. li laugh in Igbo....while I cannot say much cos we have no full details of the matter I pray it is true.....any man who cannot be faithful to his wife and keep his family together does not deserve peace at all...when they have money they begin to chase other women and realize the wife at home is not good...you will still see more shame oh...the same way I am waiting to laugh at my soon to be ex husband when his relationship with the efik queen starts to get k-leg. Stupid men who expects only a woman to tolerate all the shit they dish out but do not want to do any work or sacrifice to keep a marriage. Marriage is a life time commitment, but if you think you can treat your wife anyhow then go have an affair or pitch tent with another woman and expect to live in peace then you need your brain reset.....una never see anything oh

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think you mean vacate the property.

    ReplyDelete
  37. With his status, one would expect he has a property in Abuja. How could he have stayed all these years in Abuja without buying a property.

  38. Hmm but Jim Nwobodo was part of the CONFAB of last year na at least I'm sure cos I worked with the CONFAB secretariat for 2wks and I saw him well. I know how much I was paid for just 2wks. He as a delegate shld still be loaded with all that cash....
