NEMA Reacts To Reports On The Poor State Of IDP Camps

National Emergency Management Agency has reacted to the reports of the deplorable state of the Internally Displaced Persons' Camps, via the agency's official Twitter account.

The office of the Vice President which is reportedly responsible for the IDP Camps was under pressure late last night on Twitter as photos of the deplorable state of the camps filtered out to the media.

To this effect, NEMA has responded emphasizing that the IDPs are not as poorly fed as depicted in the photos.

  4. See rice inside buckets
    See kids looking malnourished

See the catastrophe these brainless blood thirsty BH has brought upon our great nation.
    This is sad!
My prayers are with those innocent kids smilling even in their discomfort.

How did it get to this point?
What exactly is their reason for killing human beings like them?
    I am lost for words.
    God intervene!

    2. Unfortunately, my observation is that these children have been malnourished before they became displaced. So it got me thinking, that all the victims of BH are always the less privileged ones. They kill those ones who prolly live in penury and in obscure villages. That's is why the effect of lives lost daily hasn't moved the government so much to take drastic actions. If wealthy/known families in the cities have been affected the reaction would be different. Not that I pray it happens, but I think the non challant attitude is because they have been killing the perceived "no bodies". Very sad and heart wrenching. This has got to stop. Every life is important.

  8. The northerners brought this boko haram madness on themselves. They are the ones that demanded for sharia during Obasanjo 's regime. Boko haram responded by giving them sharia in its unadulterated form.
