Tinubu Visits Buhari,Says No Rift Between Them

The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has refuted any rift between him and President Muhammadu Buhari.
He also stated that he made no demand on the party over the leadership crisis in the National Assembly

Tinubu spoke with State House Correspondents shortly after breaking fast with President Muhammadu Buhari at new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
He maintained that the cause of the party must be protected at all times.

“I believe in what President believes, I respect him and I stand firmly loyal to his cause so you might go to any length of speculations that you want, I have not responded to any of that, I understand the President and the president understands me clearly”

“I have no demand on the party, if you understand what party politics is all about, what leadership is all about, it is about loyalty and commitment to the values that leadership believes in”
“I am backing what the President has carefully enumerated and articulated to the party, the party is supreme, the party must have disciplined leadership and followers, the party’s process must be respected because that is the confidence and the trust of the people”

“In every political environment, you expect conflict, that is politics and conflict resolution mechanism will be applied to resolve all problems, there is honour in every struggle, in every competition, there must be honour in victory too”, Tinubu said.

  10. The truth is, he's just trying to save face. We all know there is big disagreement between them both, Buhari will just have to do what he needs to do for his government to be successful, if he allows Tinubu to Control hin then there's no change! *straightface*

  11. The boss has finally spoken! I love this. But this party supremacy of a thing is what tired me, because we can't really find out who is hiding under the name of the party to achieve his own personal interest.

You guys should just put an end to the issue of power struggling and let Nigeria move on as you promised sir.

  12. Tinubu should go and sit down. He has been disgraced and demystified.
He is just trying to save what is left of his respect by warming his way back to Alh Buhari. Buhari just settled him with few ministerial appointments so that he can recoup some money he spent during the campaign.
Tinubu is the leader of the yoruba tribe and not the leader of APC. He has been humiliated beyond his imagination. And the humiliation can only continue.
By the way, why did Tinubu backed down on his demand that Saraki apologize to him and his goons.

    1. You'll be shocked that ministers in this dispensation will not have access to monies like the last ones. The avenue to enrich themselves or loot public funds has been truncated. Matter of fact, this administration will make public service less attractive to those with ulterior motives because their salary and allowance is all they'll rarely have to toss with. All the excesses they enjoyed in time past is gone!! So anyone relying on retrieving dividends from ministers because they invested in them will wait tire. Futile venture

    2. So true @ Sisi,i am beginning to feel sorry for the next set of ministers in this regime.that notwithstanding,in this naija u can never be sure!loopholes will definitely arise cos almost all nigerians are corrupt, just that some pple's is deeper than some.lol!and Buhari isn't God to be omnipresent.but the joy is that corruption will be reduced to d barest minimum and looting will not be done with impunity.

  15. Stella, they did not settle anything.
Tinubu, the yoruba leader, only backed down.
He is not the APC leader in reality, Buhari is.
Tinubu know that he will ignored forever if he keep making foolish demands like the resignation of the Senate president.
    He has been permanently damaged.
