Former Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on the Diaspora, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Tuesday refuted that she owes an alleged N122m debt after her name published among the list of loans defaulters whose loans have become non-performing for more than one year.
Dabiri who made her displeasure known on her Twitter handle, @abikedabiri after her name was published as the owner of a company named Thriller Eneavours, which owes N122m.
I dont want to call this witch hunting and i dont want to even use wizard hunting but whoever is trying to jam heads should stop mixing names and whoever erroneously added her name should apologise or provide proof.

ReplyDeleteNigerians have been shortchanged for too long and it has been easily pulled through by denying the people knowledge of the truth. They are helped by the same people they cheat. This is because the people on hearing anything rush to take sides without knowing who is lying. The same is happening in this case. Now publishing a person's name does not make him guilty. In the same way public denial does not make one innocent. Hence this denial by abike dabiri gives me nausea. Her threat of writing the central bank and or any other bank has the capacity as usual to deny us the truth. You see think of justice as a two way thing instead of three the third being the society. Denying the society the knowledge of the truth is injustice done to the people. Going by the way she is going about it, the society is denied. Whether they are lying or she is lying this old method would make the two parties sit and reach agreement and business continues. As long as the matter is now public, the only way to go is for her or anyone else accused to sue the bank punch and others involved in the purported character damaging story so that then result will help the society get justice. This is what other societies do. So for once let's have a change for the better. Therefore rather than the old fashions way of accusations and denials and subsequent behind the scene deals abike dabiri should stop public posturing and sue the people. A win in this regard would boost her image ridicule the accuser and make the people know who to fight. Anything short of that would make the people continue to ask who is fooling who

I bet she's now running from pillar to post trying to get the bank to apologise while she pays of the money straight away. You see, these public officers use these loans as a cover up so that they can explain the source of their ill gotten wealth. However, it has backfired this time round because Buhari wouldn't want to entrust her with anything knowing that she has this milestone round her neck and is thus open to being compromised.
