SUICIDAL THOUGHTS

Good day Dear Stella.

I don't know what category this fits into. Please indulge me few minutes of your time, as this is very unusual and important to me.

I woke up this morning to receive a message from my younger sister who resides in Abuja, with a very worrisome message.

She said she has been having suicidal thoughts, and she can't bear it anymore.

I was in shock and in tears, because my sister is the strongest person I know, always happy, hearing this from her was unbelievable.

She is married with two beautiful kids, with a bsc and masters in real estate management from Portsmouth university, but she has been without job for 3yrs and just taking care of the kids( they are very young).

  I spoke to her to find out reasons for these thoughts, she says she feels redundant, hubby hardly available, no friends, no mentor , no motivation, no job.

Please, I'm on my knees Stella. I'm not in Nigeria  I want married ladies and people who have been in her predicament to call her and encourage her please.

This is coming from a 24year old mother of

one and married for 2years now.   
Stella my number one problem in life

is my flat nature. no breast, no nyash, no hips, hair nko?I no get.

this is really killing my confidence as my husband is not helping

matters, he never compliments me whenever I wear something nice or

nice make-up.  many times people jest about me cos of this. I have a

fine face though 'only'. I am pleading with in house doctors and

experienced people on your platform to give me tips on what to do

about my body.( natural remedies please ,me I don't have money for

expensive drugs and injections) I am naturally very slim and hardly

eats too. sometimes I hear it could be heredity I.e if your mum is not

well endowed on hips,butt and all, you are likely to take after her

but in my case my mum got it all except on the boobs and hair. 

 Please Stella this is destroying me in many ways.I can't find myself wearing

jean and shirt in fact I go to bed with bra cos of my flat chest, the

worst past is my breast has fallen courtesy of breasting.(my son is

now 14months old and I  weaned him months back). even to make love

with husband I must wear bra, he complains bitterly and once I take it

juicy job on the island but live on the mainland, I need the job in

THE NEED FOR RUNNING DIAGNOSTICS TESTS FOR DOMESTIC STAFF

Dear Stella, 

I think this is worth discussing. 

My sister employed a housemaid on Saturday. And just yesterday she discovered this girl of about 20 is HIV positive. 

Imagine if she hadn't taken the extra precaution to conduct tests on the girl. Who knows what she would have exposed her kids and the entire members of her family to. 

I'm still shocked from these findings.

Kindly post this to encourage everyone out there to have tests (HIV, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, pregnancy etc) conducted on any domestic staff they employ or intend to employ. So as not to expose members of their families to any form of harm.
