  3. Sugabelle sounded like a whole with her frequent use of the "fuck". She kept going back for more. Rape victims usually hate the incident so much, they do all they can to run away from that environment. In ur own case U were so loose, U had sex in the car wt him, kept being funked by his different friends and brothers... yet U kept going back! I am a woman and I am ur Imo sister. Nne, o nwere ka akuko gi a di. Byeeee!!!

  12. Yemi whatever. Pray the females in your family dont get their legs tied up and gang raped. Then and only then will you open your filthy mouth and talk rubbish. Please go back and read all about her. Whether she went back or not, she is a minor. How do you guys reason? Bastards.

  13. At you all shouting what is she doing in their house, have you heard of statutory rape. I think our problem is that we all started fucking (pardon my language) early, that's why we don't see anything wrong with a girl child of 17 being raped even if it was consensual it is still rape. I blame our moral value as a society. Please all the women that are blaming this girl where you never 17 and falling in love with the "tall dark, handsome and rich boy" who spins your world around, then you will know she was just a child looking for love in the wrong place and world.

  14. You are a shameless heartless foolish foolish rapist. For you to write the above you need to be in a Strait jacket at a mental home, retard foolish scum of the earth, illiterate anu of is, efulefu...please people add your insult am maxed out.... RAPIST

  15. Me I'm just speechless. Abeg who has their pictures to post. Hope they don't look like their dad though. They can be charged for rape if she has evidence. Nahh...Scratch that... Too late. It's her words against theirs. Best she can do is give them the public disgrace which she's dishing them hot already. Social media never forgets. I read through her recount with mouth wide opened.

  16. It's better the publicist doesn't issue anything abeg. This kind of matter is best left alone to die down naturally. Any dragging of it will open more can of worms. Already, another person has come out to support the lady with his own side of maltreatment received from those Audu boys. So more will come out if they continue to drag it o

  17. @Tessy. Where u see that one? I no see am o.. as in their dad's part. The whole thing is disgusting abeg. Kaiiiii

  18. Funny thing is, they may not even remember her again. That's what happens with rapists, they forget but their victims never do.

  19. Abeg make Stella no carry this their matter oh. Before they'll start to threaten her with litigation nonsense, like they did the NIJ site that carried her tweets. Make dem no come disturb our flow for here biko

  20. Judging from the comments on this post, I will NEVER let my children grow up in that place called Nigeria, NEVER.
I cant have them spew rubbish from their mouths like these dumb heads
How can graduates who have laptops and iphones be so ignorant
Yemi7up and co, you wont even make sense to a 5year old in canada
Your mind is so so myopic
Cant believe you guys dont know what abuse and rape is
She continued going back cos she was being psychologically abused
It's a rape of the mind and psyche!!
Formed by fear and naivety and slavery - sexual slavery
Most times leaves the victim no choice
Just like domestic violence - the women keep wishing the men will change
No woman, no child deserves to be RAPED or ABUSED oh, none whatsoever
And for a child, those men deserve life imprisonment
Oh, that this sugabelly girl was american she will smile to the bank with a milliondollar suit against that family
    But unfortunately she is Nigerian
This wicked judgemental hypocritical society will judge her
    And blame her
    And blame her upbringing
    And stigmatize her parents
Even the women will support and cover the rapists
And again, the powerful will go scot free
With wicked laughter in their souls while the vulnerable and minority die everyday
And we will look away again, we alwasy look away
    While patriarchy wins

And for you all forming Christianity and still judging her
Asking why she wasn't a virgin at 17
    You are NOTHING like Christ
Please don't claim to be speaking for GOD
    You are nothing like Christ
    Cos you dont know him!

  21. Did it cross your mind that he/she might have done that for people (like myself) who would wonder what it means?
    Smh. Humans

  22. No one should judge anyone or the poor girl....I have to admit that I applaud her bravery...I pray it's liberating for her. Sugar belly don't listen to the back talk...hold on to your peace

  24. @Ronalda. Anon 19: 24 wrote: "Typical ignorant comment. You should never ever say how an abused person should behave. Their experience, their pain. You can never understand the pain of rape or attempted rape if you have not been through it..." That you practise criminal law Ronalda, doesn't make you an authority on how each individual should react to rape. You don't know her background, emotional make-up and peculiar circumstance. U can straddle the fence all u want but it is immodest, insensitive and utterly presumptuous to say the least, for ANYONE to say how a rape victim should go about telling her story and letting out how she feels.

  27. Chikito I'm embarrassed for whoever raised you. How many minors are raped because they 'walked' into a situation? Husbands who rape their wives a day after she gives birth? Have you heard of grooming? Do you not understand that the mind of an abuse victim can be very complex? It's baffling how nigerian women can condone rape.

  28. I want to believe that all the people insulting this @sugabelly are men.
The girl was 17 for Christ's sake, and this guy played on her innocence, she thot she was in love and she was so deep in the debauchery that maybe she started enjoying it but that doesn't mean she is not a damaged woman and she was raped by the friends, the one she was in love with was the only consensual sex.

  29. The mind of a child is ever so trusting, ever so pure... Did u notice I said child? She was 17 but she must have been just a child when this thing happened. At that age, I was a child too. In the matters of men, I was a baby because I was so sheltered by my parents! I made some bad decisions too and I look back now and shake my head in self disgust n regret cos it wasn't worth it. Sometimes especially when you're not mature, you do certain things to seek validation from ppl you feel love you. Hmmmm...thank God I didn't fall into hands like that. But the guy who took my virginity was a manipulative sob! he even quoted the bible to get me to sleep with him. so foolish I was, I fell for it! Y'all need to understand again that back then we were not as informed about sex like kids nowadays are! What happened to this girl could have happened to anyone! given the same circumstances, the same weakness and all! I just feel so sorry for her cos there in lies a broken broken soul! Only God can heal her and I pray for her today that He does! Chai! when I remember the people who tried to take advantage of me when I was a kid, I just weep. A highly respected brother of my neighbor tried to rape me. told me to let him unzip my gown so he can see how nice my zip looks undone. Till today only God knows how I got the courage to run. Hmmm...this story just broke me really!

  30. Chikito is right I beg. It's sexual abuse not rape. Believe u and me if its rape u won't keep going back. She willingly gave herself to him thinking he will love her. That's not rape. If he had kept her we won't be hearing this story.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Don't understand why she kept going back..I read her epistle...quite unbelievable..

    ReplyDelete
  32. Go and google what rape is! Are you illiterate?? It didn't happens once. You can't rape someone repeatedly with their consent. If she goes to court with this, she will loose out on a 'rape' claim but win on an 'abuse' charge.
    Dumb ass!!

  38. @Ronalda, sugabelly shared her story at least 7years ago on her blog. She has not changed facts in the years since she first said it, in fact before she released the names many people guessed it was the Audu boys who raped her. In Abuja this family is known for drugging, raping and beating women. I don't think it is for social media attention, I applaud her for talking about rape, it starts important conversations and get a people examining themselves and works to break the silence that lets rape thrive in Nigeria.

She shouldn't hold back at all or be ashamed, the perpetrators are the ones who should feel that way.

  39. Sorry abt d rape, Moreover I was just angry she kept going back and allowed them continue to take advantage of her. Smh
