Greg Odutayo's 'Beyond Blood'

“Beyond Blood”, a Greg Odutayo film, and collaboration between Royal Roots Nigeria, HF Media and the Script Kompany UK is about to hit your screen.

Beyond Blood Tells a story about Moji, a young Oxford educated woman with a passion for social justice and equality.

Her privileged background contrasts sharply with the desperate conditions of the prostitutes, drug-addicts and their children she cares for at ‘The Mansion’ – a centre she funds privately much to the disapproval of some in her social circle including her family.

Moji is faced with a series of situations far beyond her control. Rather than confront the situation, she decides to “run” away to London in the hope that in her search for her brother, she will rediscover him and herself and have the time to think through her life and make those life-changing decisions that will put her on the path of confrontation of the society in which she finds herself.

"Beyond Blood" shot in English, Pidgin, French and Yoruba language and subtitled with locations in Lagos Nigeria, London,is a story that chronicles the ills in our society and the world - Prostitution, Drug addiction, AIDS, Homosexuality, Eastern European Trafficking gangs and a culture that legitimises tyranny and injustice.

Producer Debbie Odutayo and Director Greg Odutayo.

It will be available in Nigerian cinemas as from January, 16, 2016.
