John Fashanu And His Girlfriend Rachel Bakam Conferred Chieftancy Titles At Ofala Festival

Power couple Amb John Fashanu and Amb Rachel Bakam are soaring hand in hand. The two are doing so well together and are still as tight as Siamese twins. .........Well,call it rock and work together.

Recently, even though absent, they were conferred with Chieftancy titles at the Ofala festival from the Eze Okwe Kingdom and the Enugu State Government.  This is geared towards bridging differences in Communities, celebrating selfless service to human development and for being friends of the community.

Amb Chief John Fashanu is now Ofia-Afulu-Agu of Okwe Kingdom (meaning: The forest that contains the Lion) and Amb Chief Rachel Bakam is now Ugo-Di-Namba of Okwe Kingdom (meaning Beautiful Eagle Queen from another Kingdom).

Quoting Chief Rachel's words; "At first we were skeptical due to spiritual conotations but we discovered that this traditional community brings together Christians, Moslems and various tribes under one umbrella for the purpose of unity without any fetish acts. Thanks to HRH Crown Mayor of Nike - Igwe (Dr) Emmanuel O. Ugwu - Anyanwu  N'awalu Oha 1 of Ibagwa Nike Enugu for this unique unifying vision. We will visit the Community soon and will be adorned with our Chieftancy regalia.  We will also release pictures soon".

Not too long before this, the duo Amb John Fashanu and Amb Rachel Bakam were each honoured with the prestigious Sir Tafawa Balewa Leadership Award in Kaduna.

Thumbs up to this power couple....This is how its done!!
Rachel is like my sister from another Mother,we share a bond that is rare and i give two thumbs up for her success and ladder climb. Mwaaah!

  30. Women are funny...at 1st you were scared of the spiritual connotations but you're bold to be a girlfriend and sleeping with another woman's husband (divorced or not, they took "til death do us apart" vow). Meanwhile I thought Enugu and especially Nike had class and tradition? What ruler crowns a girlfriend? You people will attract the wrath of our ancestors very soon. Turning tradition upside down!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They crowned her as a woman. Her title is individual and different.

I'm no fan of Fashanu and his antics neither do I know this woman or care but it's double standards to say a woman shouldn't be crowned because she is a girlfriend but a man with a girlfriend should be crowned?

So women shouldn't receive awards because of their marital status while men who fornicate with them should be honoured and it's ok.

Where in the title did they say she was conferred with the title because she is Fashanu' girlfriend and is there any letter making up the title that looks the same as his own?

It's a charity event of some sorts for national unity and nothing serious. They don't look into people's sexual lives.

The fact she is like a sister to you made them a power couple unlike you I know well....would have dissed a subtle memo..
You even forgot to advice John not to come around with another drama. Awwwwww
The bond you both (Rachel)share must be really strong to have made you "free"from being bias. Odimma!!!
