Stagnation Vs Restoration Deut 1:6-8, Joel 2:25-27
A Man under the yoke of Delay / Stagnation, knows nothing like progress.
Things easily achievable for others becomes an insurmountable mountain for him; He swims in failure when others are 'cheaply' recording success in the journey of life. Eventually, He becomes so used to failure that he begins to see all failed task as "The Will of God"
In book of Joel from our text, God promised to restore every year that you have lost as a result of stagnation and guide you back on the track to greatness....only if we return to Him.
Isaiah 59:1-2 says "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear".
Sin is a sinker!
Total repentance and rededication is the only way out. It automatically puts an end to every form of siege over our destinies.
It is my prayer that as we consciously take a right step back to God, He will reach out and redefine our lives and destinies.

2. Lord, deliver me from the stronghold of sin in the name of Jesus
3. Lord Grant me divine speed this year 2016 in the name of Jesus.
3. Lord help me to do away with habits, attitudes etc that are keeping me in the bondage of Sin, in the name of Jesus

ReplyDeleteYou can't be looking up to God and man at the same time. You have two eyes, try to use one to look up to heaven and the other to the earth at the same time. Is it possible?
DeletePsalm 34:5 is what God has been using to talk to me recently. "Those who look up to God are radiant, their faces are NEVER covered with shame". I've looked up to man many times, and they failed me each time. Right now, all my focus is on God, serving Him with joy, in spite of all. And I'm never the same again, things are working. And pls don't pick offences with those people. God used them to get your attention, and for you to take your place in Him. Only Him never fails.
