Bellanaija's Uche Pedro, favourite Nigerian blogger has been nominated for the 2016 Nickelodeon Award.
Nickelodeon is an American basic cable and satellite television network owned by the MTV Network for Kids and Family Group, which focuses on programs aimed at children and teenagers.
According to a statement from Nickelodeon obtained in Abuja on Wednesday, Uche was nominated under the new category, "Favourite Blogger (Africa)".
Others are Sylvia Kamau (Kenya) - "Style by Silvia"; Aisha Baker (South Africa) - "Baked the Blog" and Theodora Lee (South Africa) - "Theodora Lee
The new category was aimed at celebrating African bloggers.
Other nominees include British singer Adele, Justin Bieber, The Weekend, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, One Direction
Chris Pratt, , Jennifer Lawrence, John Boyega, , Sofia Vergara, Daisy Ridley, Chris Hemsworth, Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Jace Norman.
Bellanaija is a Nigerian online magazine and blog that focuses on news, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle and other media contents aimed at Pan-African and Nigerian audiences.
It was founded in 2006 and has won several awards including the "Outstanding Contribution to Fashion Communication Award" in 2010 and the "Best Event Coverage Online Award" in 2011 and 2012.

For the records,Uche and i go way back before she started the Bellanaija blog and when she lived in the diaspora.She is the reason i went into active blogging.She kept telling me ''Stella start blogging,there is so much money to be made and you always have the hottest News,take your place''.
she kept pushing and never gave up on me until i gave in,I owe her that and i will forever be grateful that i listened to her.

She is not like some people who believe the sky is not big enough for every star, people who believes they must outshine others for there to be peace.
