    My sister's friend wore this type of jeans to our house around 2005. My big uncle was around too. When he saw her jeans, he asked if the danfo (Lagos bus) she boarded torn her jeans, because it was only one side that was torn. She replied that it was the reigning style. I can't forget the look on my uncle's face saying "were lo ma pe eleyi" (they will confuse her for a mad person). Immediately he ask my sister and I if we have that style of jeans too? We chorus no. I gave mine out immediately.

      Crazy jeans has been in vogue for a long time nah, it keptt coming back just like others as well. Had one slashed as well when I was in OSU, had to take it to my tailor to cover it up for me cuz I no gree wear it outside school
