  4. CBN governor is in confused state I guess. Things are not getting better with all his policies.

  5. This one affects him and his pocket, hence this rant. "Let us not stay mute..." who are the us? I have said it severally here and in other forums that if we cannot speak out against economic and political high handedness, it will come back to bite us. I also accused the government of not having visible blue prints and determinable policies and of acting on its whims and caprices + the total vainglory they show but some asked for my head on the stake.

Like Pharaoh and his plagues, it will happen little by little to their supporters. The nile will turn red and they will not mind because they have water tanks at home, locust will attack farms, they wont talk because they have food storage, the day will turn to night; they wont be fazed because they have rechargeable lanterns in their bedrooms. But it is when the angel of death struck right in Pharaoh's house and killed his 1st born son; that was the straw that broke the camel's back. That plague touched him so much that he cried out and changed his mind...it got really personal.

That is how it will be for many who have been supporting the wasteful and vile acts happening in this government. It will still come to you and no one will be left to cry out with you.

You hit the nail on the head.
      No surprise there though.

Totally fed up of this government, now I fully believe the man at the helm of affairs is indeed clueless.

    1. You are not empty. You have good health and you're alive. Find comfort in that.

If you still feel indifferent, take a visit to LUTH to see people passing through hell, maybe that's when you'll realise that where you are right now is but a phase. It'll pass.

  13. Oga, there is nothing wrong with what CBN has said! it is just to promote transparency & prevent corrupt politicians from laundering our forex! there is nothing to worry about if you don't have skeletons! we all need to fix our economy for the younger generations

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This is about money "coming in" not money "going out", so explain to me how it stops laundering of forex?

      Delete
    2. I also read the full CBN directive and they said the main reason they barred the hundreds of small operators was because they weren't paying out in dollars in Nigeria. Apparently they are supposed to be paying out in dollars in Nigeria? There explanation is that paying out in dollars will boost the domestic supply. However I see something sinister. Paying out in dollars might mean people have to go to "Aboki" to get Naira. You nor see am so? Who dey gain?

    3. Kai! Okezie, go and read your book ooo. Na wetin you dey yarn? E be like sey you no sabi sey you dey misyarn.

  14. I'm with him. Their move is completely uncalled for. Can't we just peg Naira to Dollar? or if we can't do that Devalue the Naira! Nigerians are getting poorer

  15. Why is he complaining now? Shey he was abusing GEJ and calling him and his economic team clueless? He should better keep kwayet and enjoy the change aka "chains" buhehehehehe

  19. Abeg make we hear word, buhari is the problem of this country not CBN, cos the policy can only be implemented if buhari approved it, he did not want to work, he want to depend of business people money, as a way of stealing from people, indeed we have to do something, we have to come n talk, if father mbaka, basket mouth etc who supported him can come out n speak, no time is too late, we have voted him, the mistake have been done, let's ask ourselves which way forward, make we no dey make something dey spoil dey gooooo

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thus basketmouth is too shady! He never speaks on the country's issues unless it affects him directly. Is it today the FX brouhaha started? Now that his family is on vacation abroad he wants to disturb our eyes with nonsense. Who him epp? He don baff? Who e serve?

  29. Aunty Stella you are a very good person, there is no way God won't lift up the hand that helps others and care for other people. With or without the IHN you are still a very good person with a heart of Gold. Though I have never advertised anything on this blog since I have been visiting December 2015 and I have been glued to this blog ever since because you treat your readers like family. It was when I tried to advertise something for sale on behalf of a friend who needed cash that was when you were planning to stop the IHN.

Most people don't tend to look at the good you have always done, it's when one decide to stop doing a particular thing then they start to talk bad about the person which is totally wrong. Aunty Stella I want you to know that you have people who love and adore you even without seeing you before. May God continue to bless you abundantly and be with your family, Amen
