Bruschetta For Breakfast!

Having Breakfast today?Try this out and your stomach will rumble you some thanks thereafter!

Bruschetta Recipe

Hello, BVs! Today I present to you an Italian favourite that you can make with simple ingredients right in your home. It is the bruschetta, pronounced "brusketta". This is so easy to put together. It is crispy, fresh, great for breakfast and great as an appetiser. I'll also show you two other variations to this so read on.

Here are the things you'll need:

Half a French Bread
5 firm tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
1 medium onion
3 stems of basil
Salt to taste
A quarter teaspoon of black pepper
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
And one more thing which isn't pictured:
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

Step 1

Slice the bread and place on a greased tray. I used a tray I  used in grilling meat prior to that. Ain't nobody got time to wash!

Step 2

Rub some butter or margarine all over the bread. Go for that margarine, baby! It takes the taste of the bread to a whole new level.

Step 3

Put the bread to bake in a preheated oven at about 190 Degrees Celsius (375 Degrees Fahrenheit) for about 10 minutes until slightly toasted.

While that is in the oven, chop tomatoes, onions, garlic and basil. Note; Save some of the basil for garnishing later if you like.

Step 4

Put all the chopped goodies in a bowl. Season with salt and black pepper and drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on top. Give everything a good mix.

Step 5

Take your bread out of the oven and spoon the veggie mixture over it. Garnish with whole basil leaves.

Serve immediately.

Here are two other ways to make this.

1. Top the bread with some scrambled eggs and freshly sliced tomatoes.
2. Top the bread with some guacamole (mashed and seasoned avocado).

I hope this recipe brings joy and celebration to your dining tables. For more scrumptious recipes, check out my blog at www.preciouscore.com.

Love,

  15. Important!!! Please don't reply in your mind.

I read taking green tea at night before bed helps burn calories while you sleep.
I also know Lipton tea(the yellow label) is good for weight loss..

So I put one bag of green tea and one bag of lipton in a kettle, I let them boil together then I added 2Tbsp(tablespoons) of Apple Cider Vinegar.

I drank it with speed when it was warm because the taste is not friendly..
I asked almighty Google the effects but Google didn't know.
E be like say na me be the inventor of that one.

Please who has tried it and what do you think about it..
P.s I work out and eat right..

    1. Green tea contains caffeine. Taking caffeine before bedtime isn't ideal, it inhibits proper sleep.
Generally, caffeine isn't good for your health. It stimulates the heart to beat faster without the help of the muscles.
I used to be a coffee junkie. Free now.

I just hate fruit cream today with yogurt and honey. Fruits are better eaten in it season. Green and red grapes, peach, apple, pear, kiwi, banana. I enjoyed my fruit cream and it makes me feel fresh and strong.

I will be preparing casserole today but in my own way. I love experimenting with food in my kitchen.
