I don't think it's a mistake but a strategic way to promote his image of visiting a continent with the largest population for his market without confining him to a "volatile country "as ours

  5. Stella they are actually right. According to the united nation's geographic demarcation and demographics Nigeria is a sub Saharan country. Sub-Saharan Africa is, geographically, the area of the continent of Africa that lies south of the Sahara desert.

  15. I do not think it's CNN's fault, even on Mark's page, He wrote Sub-Saharan Africa, Nigeria.

  16. Unfortunately, that is what we will ever be in their hearts. If possible they will remove the Sub and just land us in Sahara deserts.

It suits Nigerians, especially when even amongst us,we look down on other people from other places. Igbos look at Yorubas as dirty people, Ndi ofe mmanu, while Hausas are Abokis and are not meant to have anyone that can speak good english cos it is the birthright of Ibos.
Yorubas on the other hand look at Igbos as traders and the tribe that loves money. Why won't foreigners even always look for adjectives to portray us in a very bad state. Even geographically.

  20. You guys should take a chill pill. Who told you that Stella doesn't know Nigeria is a sub-saharan country?? She's only saying that Nigeria is the country being visited and not the whole sub-sahara Africa

  21. Nigeria is actually Sub Sahara.

    ReplyDelete
  22. We all know that Nigeria is part of Sub-Sahara Africa, but what stops CNN from say/writting Nigeria.
Is not that difficult. These people will boldly write NIGERIA if it was anything criminal.

That is how they will be listening to Nigerian artists songs and they will be writting West Africa music. Enough already.
Some other will pretend to spoil the pronunciation of Nigerian tribal names; claiming is too difficult. But we Nigerians can easily pronounced their names even the Europeans, claiming African names are difficult to pronounce. They forgot to teach them how to pronounce words in school.
