    3. BA you know this, Dino nani. 80% of married men in Okota and Amuwo Odofin beat their wives, smoke all sorts and club.
Nnamdi owns Exola Incs at Milaco Plaza in Ago Palace, and is in the list. Forming big boys on cyber cafe money. Tina is wild too and cannot change him, @21 you are pregnant and was a live in lover, what turns up is fights and fights and 3 years after then you run out of the apartment, and your elder brother is busy typing nonsense on Exola's Facebook, what is all his muscles for. Person mamma your sister you siddon for Facebook dey type nonsense, block the fuckboy for Apple Junction or Century bus stop and destroy his face.
Shame on Ukpo people, chicken nyash.

Is better u take ur time even if it means marrying @40.
Pls,don't marry bcos all ur mates are marrying @ the moment or bcos age is not on ur side.
If he hit u once,he will do it over n over again.

    1. But you are always one of the first people to call unmarried ladies 'gwemz'. Stop speaking from both sides of your mouth. And i'm married btw

      Delete
    2. But they'll be call gweggs na if they decide to take their time till 40 like you said. My point is people should stop shaming the single ladies and guys who are yet to be married cos you just won't understand their plight.

      Delete
    3. Taking ur time doesn't guarantee sh***, pple should learn to love themselves. If u make up ur mind to leave a husband, Pls cut all ties and communication with him, except u r in a country where there is law and order then u can divorce him and get child support. I broke up with my ex-hubby 6 years ago, I ve neither called nor seen him since then, the day I made up my mind, I left him and I took my child with me, I maintained my phone number and never picked any call from him or his family members. I ve long remarried and moved on with my life, as for my kid he bears my new hubby's name. If my new hubby misbehaved I ll still walk, YOLO...

    4. Number 1 in the shaming of unmarried ladies is giving advice???

    6. @ portable V, funny u never fail to tag single ladies as 'gwez' in all your comments, castigating them like you have their 'destiny' in your hands. Read what is up there, if it was your sister would you have encouraged her to marry that monster. Ladies the signs are always there, no matter the prayer and calling on God to change a man it rely happens.
God has given us brain so he can Rest a little.
      Use it

    7. Lafresh:have I called u a gwemz before?
If u decides to take my comments here serious, then deal with it n pls borrow urself some sense.
My comment is not for people like u.

Cissy : pls read my comment with ur brain n not with ur anus!
Stop looking for who to unleash ur frustration at.

    11. Madam Portable, you don't even want to learn from this.People are calling you out cos they have noticed you shaming older single ladies. No need to insult people. You could have apologized and moved on but instead you are acting uncultured.Ladies, there is nothing like a marriage built on Christ.May God locate the right one for every one of us.

Sometimes keeping quiet is why these things go on and on, they will tell you, you have to bear it for you child's sake, don't talk back wen he is talking even wen he is feeding his friends lies about you in ur presence, don't defend ur self, let God fight for you, all these are our "Africa" or should I say "Nigeria" mentality. Wish I did not make same mistake with d man I married, who has turned himself to God in my life, always threatening to take the children from me as if I never contributed to bringing them to this world. Hmm, someday soon, I will surprise you.

    9. That was how our mothers kept it a secret till their daughters walked into same shit. My mum was beaten and I personally hate that she didn't ask for help, she's a grandma now but I still ask her today what she has to show for the patience. We would still be her kids today and be more proud if she had stood her ground saving us all the fear and hate and almost depressing feeling I personally had growing up. You get back from school and you can't even eat the lunch offered because your mum's face is battered and she's faking sick or fallen. Your father on the other hand looks angered and rejects his meal or escapes from home for the next 2 days

....abeg speak out so we end this shameful act before it turns the next generation to broken messed up adults

  48. Each time I read things like, I just cant help but shed tears. I dont only cry for the victims, but also for myself. A reminder of what I went through but today I am a survivor. May be if I was resident in NIgeria probably I would not have survived but all thanks to the Swedish govt, Who is allegick to domestic violence especially when there is a child involved.

We all know that no one can take care of a child like the mum and that is the reason why irrespective of whatever happen between parent, the mother is always awarded custody of the child in the western world, as long as she has no alcohol or drug problem.

Abusive men dont take away children from their mothers because they love and care for that child, noooo! They only do that to purnish the woman for dareing to leave them and they dont care if the child is suffering or not. I just wish the Nigerian govt will do something about domestic violence.

Writer if you are reading this, contact the Lagos sate social services, that is if you are resident in Lagos. I just hope you have a good farmily who will stand by you att this difficult time. Just take it easy, this cup is going to pass over. You will survive this.

Its high time ladies stopped taking their lives for granted..all bcos you wanna settle down or he has money... The bible says that Wisdom is profitable to direct...
Really wonder why we take things for granted, especially this precious life dat God has given to us... Rather we use our hands to destroy it.
