    1. No, you're not! Maybe it was the hype that got me disappointed. In my opinion, it is basically the same ol' story line on par with Tyler Perry movies.

      Delete
    2. No Tetrina, it's not. Tyler Perry would have ended the movie with the woman divorcing her husband but Alex and Stephen Kendrick on the other hand don't support divorce.

  8. Ebuka that's why she's your wife. Women pray for their serious bfs everyday not to talk of husband.

    1. Haaaaaaaahaaaaa..you both are one so if you curse him for one hour..you automatically curse yourself for one hour..

    2. Don't curse him rather pray for him to change and be a better husband to you.the more you curse him,he becomes worse.now take back ur words madam

      Delete
    3. Sorry dear. Biko don't 'west' time on curses o. Pray for change. Afteral na change era we dey

    4. He doesn't need my prayers anymore even his own mother curses him. How do you pray for a man that abandoned his children for prostitutes, parties and drinking?. But i prayed for him when he had issues, in fact i prayed him into the wealth he thinks he has today. It all over, im taking my prayers back. Even adding curses with mid night prayers.

  19. One hour is small na.
Before I knew the importance of prayers, I could care less, because my mum was always interceding for everyone of us. A lot of times, from the early hours of the morning till dawn.
    And she still does.

Called me to tell me that their 70 days prayer and fasting had begun, so I could join her and others interested. The spirit is willing....Highest I've ever gone at a stretch is 21 days. * covers face *

Nothing holds a family together like the power of a praying wife. I'm witness to a lot of impossible sounding testimonies to that effect.

God help me, I'll have that kind of strength to do so for mine.

    God bless your marriage, Ebuka.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't pray too o...lol!

  21. I pray for my stingy husband when I can but I pray for myself everyday for God to give me that job am looking forward to, so I can take better care of myself nd my daughter nd careless about his stinginess.

  23. Lol. Deviating from Ebuka's post which is clearly light hearted. This war-room movie hysteria. Maybe cos im a pessimist. No matter how you pray for a man, the change starts with him. That is why you should advice him alongside prayers. Read a chronicle post where a lady said her husband cheated with her sister, cousin, numerous women.still cheats till date and people said she should watch War Room and pray. Lmao! What is left of a woman's life when she's 60 and her husband still messes around and litters the whole place? That woman's husband is a sex addict with no holds barred. Is it when he rapes her kids that people will advise her to leave or seek psychiatric help for him?
They were many dying men in the time of Jesus, only lazarus and Jairus daughter or so were raised. Extraordinary things dont happen to everyone everytime. The whole war room thing is 1 to 7% of the grieving wives. And at what cost? When the husband has squandered the family wealth on hapless women?when he comes crying back to you with 3 to 4 veneral diseases begging you that you can both manage the HIV and still live healthy? What is even the price of companionship? Then years later, he comes to tell Kirk Franklin's story. How convenient for men! Keep away from useleSs men and run from wastrels. You cant love your husband-to-be for his big peen and good sex, ignore his cheating, ignore his violent tendency or verbal abuse or his ability to waste money then say "no one is perfect", and you hope to pray till something happens. Then you go into the marriage and your bedroom is a 'war room'. Pray for hours. You think Bill Cosby's wife didnt pray? Its different when your husband is under the yoke of diabolic people not a big flaw in his attitude and his utter disrespect for you, your family and the marriage institution(would take a heavy miracle to steer such men), the miracle may involve them losing an organ, you donating yours and nursing them for the rest of their lives.the price for companionship. Men are enjoying in Africa.

    3. Bonaparte, please, leave them, abeg.

War Room 1 isn't enough. Watching the part 2, like I said on that post, is the solution for any cheating spouse.

Heaven helps those who help themselves, is all I know. Praying without applying wisdom, I don't know how that makes sense.
A woman 'in the abroad' can never have that type of chronicle I saw on Monday. * sigh *

    4. White Diamond! Lmao. Does it have Part 2? Or you're being sarcastic? Got nothing against prayer but like you said 'applying wisdom' alongside. So true. You cant make wrong decisions and expect to pray it away.
