Simone Biles has captured America’s hearts on her road to Olympic gold with the U.S. women’s gymnastics team. One of those hearts just so happens to be Zac Efron’s.
Like many celebs, Zac has been tweeting his support for Team USA in Rio. However, his focus seems to be on one athlete in particular. “So phenomenal a skill’s named after her. Congrats on sticking the Biles and qualifying for the finals @Simone_Biles!” the hunky 28-year-old actor tweeted after Monday’s qualifying round.
“Thanks Zac! I hope you can watch Team Final tomorrow night,” the 4-foot-9 phenom responded. And you better believe Zac stayed true to his word.
So how did the 19-year-old gymnast come to be the object of Zac’s Twitter affection?
Back in March, a very giggly Simone told Ellen DeGeneres that she had a crush on theNeighbors 2 star. And leave it to Ellen to help a girl out.
The TV host presented Simone with a leotard adorned with Zac’s face and bod. “He doesn’t know that you have a crush on him, but I want you to get his attention so I got you something to wear at the Olympics,” she explained.
While the gymnast hasn’t rocked her Zac Efron leotard in Rio just yet, she certainly has caught the attention of her celebrity crush.

ReplyDeleteEvery event has its stars and moments. It's just a crush. He's too old for her and he allegedly did thread Ms Biles' mother's past... Lupita adored Leto and Dicaprio also but backed off when she got to KNOW them the real Hollywood way and I don't mean anything physical. Simone has her life ahead of her. An arrangement by their publicists to meet, one or two appearances together for photo ops and soon she will be tired of him. It's just a crush. Chill peeps.
