be ashamed of her action for raising a false alarm about the story being false and delaying the family from taking her to abroad for the treatment. That lady is EVIL and hopes she lives with the guilty

    7. I'm so angry rn. When toyin shouted scam you all crucified her, look now! They knew she was going to die but went ahead to ask for funds, toyin got wind of their intentions and called them out. She was insulted for her kind deeds, has God vindicated her now or not? Let me watch and see if they will donate to that actor.
Rest in peace Mayowa, you're in a better place devoid of this world's wickedness and selfishness

    8. Mz Anon, you people should stop this rubbish talk. From the pictures and videos that were made before Nigerians contributed the money, it was obvious that she had gone far! When they were begging for the money, they said she was in stage 4. The people that donated knew that the sickness had gone far and that she would have survived only by the grace of God, but they still donated.

So what's all this "They knew she was going to die but still went ahead to ask for funds" talk?

Heck we all knew she was going to die!!

    11. @Mzanon what are you talking about. If we should start apportioning blames plenty people will be blamed. Toyin, the family and others. Before Toyin raised the alarm, did she not know the girl was already in stage 4 cancer? Did she get to that stage after they raised the money? What are you talking about? At the end of the day, they are all to be blamed cos she at that stage its only the grace of God. They all got the public to donate. Now everyone is crying blue murder.
Abeg make the girl go rest. All the katakata is now left for the living.

RIP to her. May her family find comfort. I partially blame her family tho, instead of spending her last days making her happy and at peace. The stage she got to was already terminal and all she needed was palliative care. Even if there was no saga she was too weak to fly, they couldn't fly her to Dubai or the US coz she was already too weak and they knew this. I know people like to blame others for their problems. I just lost a family member to cancer but luckily for me we had two doctors in my family and one is an oncologist ( cancer specialist) and we fought cancer gallantly for 6 years but when it got to her terminal stage we decided to just care for her until she passed and we are still grieving her. Truth is even at that time of the saga the family had not secured a concrete hospital abroad to take her to so everyone should stop the blame game instead learn from this. If you are soliciting help from the public, please be open about the plans on how to spend it because the public have become partial shareholders so they deserve to know and also be nice to people who are trying to help you, you owe it to them to show appreciation especially Linda, Toyin and Aramide who helped them get the much needed publicity

    3. What do you mean? Mayowa will still have died regardless. Even before Aramide, Toyin and Linda claimed that the whole thing was a scam, most of us knew that Mayowa was very far gone and that it would take the grace of God for her to survive.

I hated Aramide, Toyin and Linda for blowing things out of proportion by misunderstanding Mayowa's family, but they are still not to blame for her death. It's unfair to blame them for her death.

She was at stage 4 cancer.
There is no way she would have lived without a miracle. Not medicine, not prayers, nothing but a miracle.

And if miracles were that easy to come by, all the jumping upandan and strange contortions Nigerians make in the guise of prayer in their churches would have earned the country quite a few.

I strongly believe she would have lived longer if she had NOT been moved. That trip could not have been easy. Just 2 hours in a plane and I know how my body feels.😧

I think Nigerians are wonderful people to have given so wholeheartedly. No opportunity to help should be ignored if one can.

  51. Stella, stop being over dramatic.
It was only a matter of time. The cancer had already eaten too deep. There was no way she could have survived it. Miracles do happen, yes. There is nothing beyond God, I can testify to that. But sometimes, we have to be realistic. This is one of such instances. She was as good as dead long before her family seeked for donations. Why didnt they do so earlier?
Pardon me for stating this. The family used her condition to enrich themselves. They knew the prognosis. They knew the end was near.
And for all those cursing Linda and Toyin, the delay that was caused by the investigation conducted due to the alarm they raised didn't contribute to her death. I'm sure if the scam wasn't exposed she wouldn't even have been flown out.
May her soul rest in peace. And may she find rest in The Lord.

  52. Those people in her family just scan people of there soft cash.
They knew she is gonna die anyways.
They should put the money into public treasury cos the family don't deserve a kobo from that money.
Now it will be difficult for people to donate to such course again.
    RIP Mayowa...

From what I saw, I knew she would not make it except God said otherwise.
Please the money should go to other cancer patients not to the family.

  57. If you are soliciting help from the public, please be open about the plans on how to spend it because the public have become partial shareholders so they deserve to know and also be nice to people who are trying to help you, you owe it to them to show appreciation especially for people who made it very public.

  66. Linda raised awareness and contributed to this cause while you did not but suddenly, it hurts you all more than anything. What you haters fail to understand is that God sees the heart and not your sycophancy. You will keep wondering why Linda keeps soaring higher and higher not knowing that your black hearts of jealousy is what is holding you all captive.
Stage 4 cancer is terminal unless a miracle happens...Google the meaning of terminal before spewing your ignorance.

  67. This is Life. SO SAD.

No one should blame or curse TOYIN, LINDA OR ARAMIDE.
They family shouldn't have allowed it to get to that stage before going public. However, we can analyse, insult, pray for people or even regret certain things but God knows best.

  68. Some of you are just commenting nonsense, pray never to see any of your love ones in such situations you will understand by then.

Even when the Drs might have concluded she's not gonna make it and bla bla bla, you think it will be easy for her love ones to watch her in such pains without doing anything to assist her.

You that is healthy for today should learn how to thank God almighty. I hate that name #cancer# can I stop crying over my inlaw,i lost him last year through this cancer of a thing, leaving my younger sister with 3young kids to care for

    Mayowa rest in peace dear
