Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative..

Na waaah!!!

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE...
TEENAGER WITH BOYFRIEND CHRONICLES

Hello Stella. I stumbled on your blog a few weeks ago and I've been a consistent reader...really interesting stuff you have here..keep it up!

Please hide my identity. And please post it, I need advice ASAP

So this is an issue about my relationship. I am currently 18years to turn 19 in feb next year... I just got out of a relationship with a guy last night ( call him mr X)...it goes like this.

I met him in a bus with a friend 3 months ago...I'm a BIG joker and very fun to be with(no be lie), so he got attracted to me. I ddnt really notice because a lot of guys think I like them because of my type of person. I talk to people I just met like I've known them for ages..

I guess he just felt comfy..so fast forward to a few weeks after, I saw him on Facebook under people you may know, I added him up as per I've met him before. We got chatting and he told me that he's been asking for my number from my friend( a mutual friend of ours,a guy. And no, the friend doesn't like me, he just felt it was wrong to give out my number like that) but that the friend said no...

I gave it to him as I felt there's no harm in it...we got chatting and he told me he liked me and didn't know how to contact me since we met...I had just previously left a relationship when I met him and I was still stuck on my ex(call him mr Y) and he really likes talking to me, like we were always on a call almost every minute of the day, sometimes, we both sleep off on the call...when he told him he liked me, I told him I didnt like him and I just saw him as a friend as he's 11 years older than I am...so he told me that he'll make me love him..

I thought he was just jinxing himself and his trick won't work on me..but after about 1month of constant convo, I visited him, spent the night at his, he tried to kiss me but I didnt allow him, we sha slept like that..nothing happened...

Another time, he slept over at my house, something happened..we didnt have sex sha(I'm a virgin but not a VIRGIN) we just smooched and all, he said I was making too much noises and we weren't alone in the house so he stopped..I travelled the day after that and we continued our conversation.

Mind you, we weren't dating all this time.

Earlier on, he asked me about my past relationship, I told him it wasn't necessary because it happened in the past...I had an issue with him, he has too many exes and he's always taking about them..I told him to stop as I didnt like it..plus, he has had sex with everyone of them...at this point, I still didn't like him.

Even after the smooching, I wasn't even feeling it, I just let him carry on...after I travelled, we kept talking, I've been away for a month.

Shortly after I travelled, I agreed to date him but It was because he stopped talking to me in detail saying I don't have a right to know anything about him because I'm not his girlfriend.

I understood but I really wanted to know him so I agreed to date him...we had  been dating for a month now, I still haven't seen him again because I haven't returned...I didn't tell anyone about the relationship, even my friends.

Firstly because, I ddnt like him much, plus, I wasn't sure of his reputation, and I ddnt like his look/dressing. He  wasn't up to my standard but he is an ambitious and serious person and I liked that about him. My ex was very unserious about his life...I need to add that I am someone almost everyone in school knows, because I talk to people a lot.

Literally everyone that crosses my path...I couldn't afford to date someone that will spoil my reputation....

*Why dont you 'Undate' him and face your studies first? Its better.....He is already touching you, what will do you when he asks for the main thing? Why are you already experimenting when you are not ready? Why not keep this thing and do it right?

You are just 18..so young..young enough to date if you want but too young.PLEASE JUST FORGET ABOUT MEN IF YOU CAN.....na wah
I am just confused and dont know what to say.

    1. You sound too childish for your age. You are 18 not 14? Why are you prattling about? Your story is in no particular direction. What do you mean "jinxing himself", trying to use complex words. Hahahhahhaaa. Then you ended up saying you need our advice that you're a superstar in school and wouldn't wanna spoil your Rep by dating this guy. How long did you say you 'dated '? 1 week or month? Im looking for where to start. Mr x and y. Serious in life?

You met a 29yr old guy in a bus, chirped around like how you write "I mean! You see! As in! It's like! I was like! "Bla bla. He took your number. You added him on Facebook. Did mid night calls with him. Visited him, he smooched you because you're a virgin not a VIRGIN... I don't blame others for shunning your story. This is an adult forum, try to sound mature. If you keep sounding like this, men will use you

      1) who told you you're interesting? Everyone likes your style. Keep assuming...

2)miss, you keep saying you ain't feeling him but I think he is meeting his objectives. To him, you're just one smallie he is preparing for sex. Your relationship isn't even exclusive, he has so many different women and you're just a lil girl he's experimenting with. From "I'm not really into him", you are sailing in his sea of deceit.

      Your reasons are childish.
You think you're on control costs you talk more but by the time you're used, you will know who is in control. Please, act your age ; you're not 15. Talk less and observe more. If not, stick to boys of your age who you can both move at same pace. None of these things mean anything, you're nothing special really. Stop feeling brilliant and Jovial and bright. Face your future.

    2. Omotola found a good man at a young age, plus she seemed to have a wise head on her shoulders. Can't say the same for poster. Even though physically she may be ripe for marriage is poster emotionally, mentally and financially ready at her age? And why the rush to gbensh? Would you advise your sister to continue as poster is doing Naya? Many young girls have wrecked their whole lives as well as their children's due to such continuing foolishness. Biko poster it is better people tell you the plain truth, no matter how harsh if it will make you sit up.

    3. Madame Ideato, Listen at the age of 18 I was already Grinding... Yeah!!! I was always a Virgin to any big shot I had sex with. They saw me like a baby and I had to prove to them my innocence. By readily making blood available after our sex session. So I was everyone's little girl and they cared for me. There was tears to prove my sadness /anger. And there was blood to prove my innocence. So these men loved me genuinely. At the age of 20. I got married because I saw life very fast. I advised myself to settle down and have kids. My husband said he wanted two kids. And God was faithful I have two boys 8&5yrs. Witha Masters degree. I am 29yrs old. So it doesn't matter how old a girl is or when is right to have sex. It's a personal decisions and her ability to handle whatever situation she finds herself. Most importantly her ability to turn her lemons into a big jar of lemonade. And still keep her cool. And till date I still have admirers, but let just look at them and laugh because they don't have a clue as to who claim they want... Looking back now... I wonder how I got away with being silly.

Poster Relax... The guy is broke and has nothing to offer. Go hunting and stop kissing very toad for free.

  21. Let us face it, most of us have been in relationships at this age. So while we are trying to advice the poster, let us not be insensitive about it.

Dear Poster, you are not too your to be in relationship but at your age, your priorities in relationship might not be clearly defined. So, as Stella has suggested, 'undate' this man and face your studies. A time will come when you will know what you want in a man and there will be enough options.

Except you just want to date for the sake of it and except the man you are with is ready to marry you, trust me, you can do without the man drama at this age. Goodluck!

Sweetheart, I understand you, and believe me, most of the people saying face your books, did worse. However, they are right, and they wish they faced theirs when they were ur age.
You are in the campus, that is why it is easy to sleep in a guys room and let a guy sleep in yours, but believe me, it is a character you might regret later in life.
One thing is sure, u will be tempted to enter into relationships at this stage and to have sex, and u definitely feel u are old enough for that. You are. But most decisions taken at this time are often regretted later.
So my advice is chill. Remain the funfilled person, make loads of good friends, both males and females, but be very slow to go into relationships, and indulgements. Try to hold them off as long as u can.
Face your education squarely. Let that be what your world is revolving around for now. Let men be quartenary not even tertiary. Decide on some rules that you follow e.g u don't sleep alone in a room with an opposite sex if u can help it, u don't get too friendly with a married man, u don't sort lecturers for marks etc. And don't hesitate to let whoever cares to know, so that u will be known with that reputation, and would not want to spoil it.
Babes I have a lot to say, wish u were my sister, and here with me.
Lastly, don't forget to forgive yourself when u fail. If u fall, stand up brush urself up, learn from ur mistake, and move on with no regrets and with ur head held high.
    Don't forget God.
I wish u the most regretfree youth.

  52. I see you all shouting Minor and all, some of you got married at 18. Even some of our mothers got married that early. Please no hate messages to this young girl. Give your advise or stay mum. Young lady here is my advise for you; You're not too young for whatever you're doing right now but please I want you to consider the consequences of your action to your studies, family and reputation. Life itself is a risk but please make sure the risk is worth taking.

  53. This is one confused little girl. You agreed to date him because he doesn't tell you everything, even though you don't like him? And now, you think he tells you everything?

You don't have any reputation girl. Concentrate on your education and make one. You're just 18. You still have your life ahead of you. You'll meet a lot of guys that you'll have to chose.

Stop running after men, please. And it's either you're a virgin or you're not. There's no sitting on the fence there.

Please, let this be the last chronicle you'll send. Face your books and get a degree, without stories that touch along the line.

    As Salaam Alaikum.

Calling to ensure I wasn't sleeping. We broke up because of distance a few months to my 21st birthday. I graduated with a second class upper from the faculty of law from one of the prestigious federal universities in the west. I am 24yrs old and am now a lawyer, practising in the law firm of a senior Advocate. Am still a virgin and I intend keeping it till my wedding night.
The moral of my story is that there is no age too young to start dating as long as it is not sexual and the two of you prioritise your academics

    1. So your story 19:15 now makes you not to be a hypocrite. BVs used their mb to advise this unserious poster and you say they are hypocrites? Oya tell us what is bad in their advise. If it were my sister, out of love I will be more harsh with her, so she knows it is not a joking matter. Was the person you dated 11 years older than you? If poster sounded more sensible I am sure the responses would have been a bit different.

    3. Most people have told her to stay away from dating because she simply doesn't sound like she can handle one at this point.
A lot of 18 year olds are way more mentally mature than some people in their 30s but unfortunately this poster isn't one.
At 18 you can be in a relationship but you shouldn't date someone just because you 'want him to tell you his secrets' and you definitely shouldn't be getting intimate with him either.
Omotola is a perfect example. Married at 18 obviously with a good head on her shoulders. If not, her marriage wouldn't have lasted this long.
Poster, a lot of people here have told you to stay away, some harsher than others but one thing you should know is its all in your interests.
You honestly don't need the drama that comes with relationships yet. You don't even like this guy and you're sending a chronicle in. Hope you get my point.

If you must date an older guy pls date the ones that are matured and not old man that think and talk like a child. don't forget to make you studies your first priority.

  98. I had my first boyfriend at 17. Dating at that age isn't totally wrong. It's a time to get to know yourself and the opposite sex. Just be careful so you don't learn the hard way.
If you aren't comfortable with this guy, then cut ties with him.
You don't have to date every guy that gives you attention.
It's also not too early to start praying for God's guidance and direction in your life and relationships.
Ask him to grant you wisdom to always make the right decisions.
Most importantly, give priority to your books. At the right time, a good guy will come along your way.
