Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narratives...

Hmmmm...

NARRATIVE NUMBER ONE
RUNS GIRL TURNS EVANGELIST.

Dear Stella and fellow BVs

My mail will be disjointed so I apologise in advance . I was a child prodigy which turned to a sort of freak. I graduated from the university at 18 (I skipped classes), got married and had my daughter who is 6 years already. But I had high expectations which was one of the reasons my marriage failed. But that's not the reason I decided to air my not so clean laundry on BN.

I matured early sexually at 13 (by choice), then later I discovered I had this  side people were unaware of , because of my level of intelligence and smartness ( not being boastful , I know it's unbecoming), I could hold meaningful conversation on different topics ranging from science, religion and even sex and more. It earned major points for me and lots of men were attracted to me because of this and also , I'm petite,  very beautiful like Naomi Campbell (although I started bleaching recently. Lol) also I'm very kind and I have 6 kids I train in school which makes me feel fulfilled.
But in all these I was a 'silent runs babe' . Although  my preys had no idea i was a whore because I use a different approach to make them pay for sex which they do inadvertently.
2 years ago I gave my life to Christ,  I realised I was manipulated by marine powers which was the reason I was wayward. I'm now an evangelist but I sometimes I think of my past and I feel nasty.
I'm married now  to a german dude with 2 kids but the problem is I still think about my past.
My husband is aware of my past life because I'm an open book and he's shown me genuine love.  I still think about karma, does it mean I escaped it because I gave my life to Christ  or will it visit my children?
I shamelessly dated 2 married men when I was living this lifestyle..
     Thanks for posting
Former runs babe

NARRATIVE NUMBER TWO
COURT MARRIAGE

My boyfriend of two years recently proposed marriage to me. However, his dad passed on and he had to use a bulk of his savings to attend to the burial arrangements. We have fixed January for the introduction. But as it is, with state governments owing salaries there's no money in sight.
He suggested we do a secret court wedding after the introduction and postpone the traditional and church wedding till when there's money probably by the end of the year, to throw a party for our family and friends.
Please I would like to know if it is legally ok to do this especially since it's going to be a secret affair. I would also like to know if the court wedding must be done in the city where the white wedding is going to hold. Lawyers in the house should also kindly provide us with information about how to go about with the court wedding.

You just added "Stella and fellow BVs" in the first line because you were too lazy to go through the rest, forgetting that the Bella naija poster that you copied the "chronicle" from had included "BN" in her write-up. As I said earlier, clap for yourself ohhhhhhh. As a sharp girl that you are now *still in sister Nkechi's voice* smh!!!

  28. chikito and one anonymous, your read comments in an old post. it got me smiling all through and the reason is because I was just really surprised to see I have people like me in the world. My mum is strict, very strict but my dad is liberal, very very. To me he seems like someone who had so much fun growing up.My mum was so strict, she made me lock her entirely out of my private life, she knows literally nothing deep about me except that I am a medical student and of course her daughter, she knows nothing about my future plans, about my other talents and whatever I will be besides a doctor. I get jealous of other children too a lot. lol,but I still love my mum, I just wish we could start all over again, although we talk better now,but it will be very difficult to let all of me out to her again,it was so bad when I first saw my period,i told my dad,who told mum for me. Take note all mothers reading this, make your child your best friend, lock her out in her early days, lock her out forever.I have learnt too from my own experience,my kids will be my all in all, I will love to know all about them,be there shoulder from crying etc. *kisses*

  29. What is karma?
The word karma means action or performance. In its most basic concept, karma is the belief that our actions bring corresponding reactions. In more popular terms, we get what we deserve or “what goes around comes around.”

    Similarity with Biblical Truth
There are some similarities between karma and truths we find in the Bible. For example, the Bible teaches that God is just both in the sense that He punishes evil and rewards good. The book of Proverbs gives many principles that show good or bad actions bring good or bad consequences. Some point to Galatians 6:7 which says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”
Furthermore, the Bible teaches that these consequences for our actions can be experienced in this life or in the next. In this life, bad actions can have negative consequences like hindering our fellowship with God and people, poverty, physical illness, death, etc. Good behavior has the contrasting good consequences. Though the Bible does not teach reincarnation, it does teach that believers have a future in the kingdom of God.

    Dissimilarity with Biblical Truth
Though some may think that the Bible approves the concept of karma, the dissimilarities are great. The Bible’s teaching is vastly superior to the concept of karma.
The Bible does not teach that the universe is locked into karma or any universal law. Yes, God did design the universe to operate by some basic principles of justice and retribution, many of which are mentioned throughout the Bible. But God can alter the laws He has created and is not a slave to those principles. Though He is just, He is also loving, and His love for us can supersede His justice toward us. When it comes to our salvation, “He made Him [Jesus] who knew no sin, to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor. 5:21). God fulfilled His justice by exacting payment for our sins, but He did it through His Son dying in our place. That is contrary to what karma expects.
Because God loves us, and because His innocent Son satisfied His justice, God can give us His eternal life, His righteousness, and His forgiveness for all of our sins. By His grace through faith in His Son we are given what we do not deserve. While karma locks a person into a cycle of retributive justice, God breaks that cycle with His grace. While karma guarantees that a person gets what he deserves, grace guarantees that a person can get what he does not deserve. By definition grace is a free gift that is not deserved.

The Bible teaches that God’s grace can break into the cycle of sin with blessing. For example Psalm 103:10 says,
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
    And Rom. 5:8 says,
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Conversely, God also allows bad things to happen to very good people. In the Old Testament Job is called the most righteous man on earth, yet he suffered horribly. In the New Testament God’s perfect Son was unfairly condemned and crucified. God is free to act outside of His normal design. This upends the rigid dictates of karma.
Unlike reincarnation, which teaches that a person gets another life to improve his or her karma, the Bible does not teach that anyone gets a “do over” after this life.

  30. There is nothing like court wedding. It's you going to the Registry to register your marriage. Meanwhile, why not tell your parent to collect your engagement things on that introduction day? Let the bride price be paid.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Lady one: You need to renew your mind through the word of God and know that the word "karma' is not in our scriptures. When someone repents, God forgives and the person begins a new life.

Poster 2: You are about to take a VERY FOOOLISH STEP. There is nothing like secret marriage. In fact, it is not marriage if it was secret. Questions:

Supposing you get pregnant and he dumps you?
Who will get stuck; become a single baby mama and sulk?
Who is the one that will rush to "marry" another lady traditionally and have kids?
Who is the one that will not have another marriage because she has a "child outside wedlock" and "an existing legal document showing that she is married"?
Who will be depressed and suicidal?

Foolish woman, foolish decision. How about waiting till there is money for the ceremonies?

  33. 2. GAlatians 6:7 teaches that we reap what we sow. But several things should be noted. First, though it is stated as a divine principle, God has the freedom to override His own principles of retribution and reward. If He did not, no sinner could be saved.
Also, to be faithful to the context of Galatians 6, this verse is not discussing the condition for eternal salvation (that was discussed earlier in chapter 3), but the consequences for Christians who live either according to the Spirit or the flesh (Gal. 5:21-26). The emphasis in the context is admonishment for Christians to do good works as they live under grace instead of law. If Christians live by the Spirit (not the flesh), they will have a richer experience of God’s eternal life in the future (6:8-9). The apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 6:8-9, “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
This is not karma, but divine motivation and reward for personal responsibility.

Grace trumps karma. In karma there is no hope apart from what we can do for ourselves by our own effort. The Bible teaches and experience shows that we are sinful by nature and left to ourselves we will do evil, and thus deserve punishment. Grace, however, does what we cannot do. It gives us eternal life that we do not deserve and gives us God’s Spirit to help us do good things.

we must always remember that it was Jesus whose death on the cross resulted in the reaping of eternal life for us, and that it is faith in Jesus that gives us this eternal life. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Therefore, we see that the concept of reincarnation and karma is incompatible with what the Bible teaches about life, death, and the sowing and reaping of eternal life.

    Culled...hope this helps!

Don't allow your past to cause commotion in your present life. Continue to pray for grace. God's grace is sufficient for us all.
But, make sure you do not secretly go back to living a wayward life.
    God bless you.

Poster 2, why do you young women always like to cause problem for yourselves? Why don't you ask your fiance why he want a secret court marriage?
You want to have a court marriage, no problem, but doing it secretly with just the both of you raises some suspicions.
Make sure your fiance pay your bride price though, since you both live in Nigeria. I wish you luck.

  43. Poster 2 the truth is court wedding is the recognised legal wedding because all registries including churches need to get their licenses from the court registry before you can be married. Many churches who are not registered as a licensed marriage registry will insist the couples go to church first because the white wedding is just a formality. Anyhoo, the age of consent is 18. Once you are past 18 years, you need not seek parental consent to get married. It is assumed that you know what you are doing. However, it is advisable that you tell your parents or someone close to you because you will need a sponsor or someone to sign for you. A friend of mine whose hubby wanted to travel out promised her wedding in two years time. My friend didn't want empty promises, so they got married in court. Two years later he came back and paid her dowry and they forfeited the white wedding. In your case poster, you can do the court wedding if you love your guy and you know he has potentials not to be broke in the future.

  44. Post 1: If you've really given your life to Christ you know "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2Cor5:17.
Poster 2: Court Marriages are legal. But you can't do them in secret as you will need two witnesses.

  46. Poster 2: its registry wedding not court marriage. Registry marriage can be celebrated in any marriage registry in Nigeria but its advisable to do same in the city where you are known and no it cant be done secretly because the registry will put up a notice for 21 days for the public to see and react properly if there is to be an impediment to the intending marriage.
    Requirements for registry wedding:
    N1000 for 21 days notice
    N20,000 for certificate & wedding
    2 cartons of can malt
    1 bottle of non alcoholic
2 witnesses (1 from each side)
    2 wedding
    photographer/camera phone
Just visit any local government office in your area and ask for the marriage registry.

  47. Poster one: Anything you see, you take in good faith. What goes around, comes around.

Poster two: Better be patient and get married properly. I'm not saying that a court marriage isn't legal, but seeing as he wants it a secret and you've not been married traditionally, it looks fishy.
    Just saying.

  51. Poster 1 If you are sure you . have given your life to Christ then you have nothing to worry about because the Bible says old things are past away and if we confess our sins and are truly sorry for them God will make our heart as white as Scarlet. So sis you have nothing to worry about. pray more to forget your past and always pray over you children that the repercussions of your sin will not befall them.
Poster 2 You better wise up and talk to your hubby so that you guys can do a low key wedding only very close family at most 20 people and you will be married instead of saving money to feed people for a few hours and some will still complain about not eating and others not being invited. Use the money you have to make Investment that will benefit you and your unborn children. Times are hard and everybody knows young ladies widen up unless you want to keep begging for diapers. my 2 Maria.

  59. 1. Only believe that Jesus saves. You have been redeemed, focus on God and sin no more. Alleluia

2- Get yourself empowered and do not enter into marriage empty hand. Registry is ok since your parents and his people will be there.
