Re- Memo To Men...MUST READ.

Sometimes calling out the men is useless when the women are no good themselves!
Did you read the first part?--Read MEMO TO MEN and then come back to read this.

Good day Stella,
I decided to write you today after reading the memo to men by Bv James, I will go straight to the point to tell my story.

Am from a family of 6, I was born with a golden spoon, my dad was the richest man in my community then, am talking of the 70s, but my life was a living hell, thanks to my mum.

My dad was a living saint, he was the nicest man in planet earth, but he was so unfortunate to marry a devil for a wife, my mum destroyed my dad,dad was too quite for my liking, but my mum was a tigress,my dad gave her everything she ever wanted but she was never satisfied, dad was working in Lagos while we were at Enugu, mum will bring in men into her matrimonial home and she would warn us not to tell Dad,Stella as a child I was damaged, watching another man sleep with my mum on my dad's bed, eventually dad found out and sent her
packing.

Stella we were so happy and we begged dad not to bring her back, after about 6 months of living in peace, we were shocked when dad said he was going to bring her back ,this woman came back with 10 thousand demons, she went about borrowing money from people, what she did with the money nobody can tell cos she was not lacking, she was the one controlling dad's wealth, debtors were coming to our house everyday to demand for their money, the embarrassment was too much, that was the beginning of dads down fall,he sold the only house he had then to pay debt

mum separated dad from his family, when things became so difficult for dad, hisfamily members refused to help us because of what my mum did to them,Stella if I tell u what this woman did to us her children, you won't believe it,at a point we were doubting if she's our real mother because I have never seen a woman who hates her own children. My dad died out of frustration, till today we don't relate with her like our mother because even at this old age,she has not changed, her wickedness is growing by the day.

Stella you won't believe that all of us are praying for her to die,is that bad.

Have you ever seen a woman who derives pleasure in destroying the image of her children,no matter what u give to her, shes never satisfied, today my family is decided into 2 because of her,she gossips a lot,she has succeeded in causing division among her children, when I went through the comment section, I was glad when I read what Angelray4sdk wrote, I knew she was talking about the likes of my mum.

Let me not bore you with my story, I just wanted to correct an impression in that article, maybe I will send more stories later.

Thanks. Bv Jennifer.

  1. Mouth wide opened, this is the first time a child will speak so bad of her mum. Your mum must truly be a demon/devil in human skin. Sorry my dear, all will be well #E-hugs

    1. Poster - you really don't know why your dad accepted her back. If it's not jazz then there must be another reason.
Secondly, your dad's family is wrong for not helping you because of your mum's wickedness. God forbid!they should have shared you people equally among yourselves, moved you away from her and helped train you. It's not your fault you have a wicked mother. They are very wrong for taking it out on you. Please watch them with side eye. I know someone who has an evil brother who married an evil wife join him own (YES I KNOW SOMEONE!! You people can die 😝). But when he returned for Xmas and saw his brothers 3 daughters suffering in poverty, he called a meeting and told his siblings that it's their responsibility to see those girls make it in life. Cos na the same surname them dey bear and if anything happens to them and they become prostitues tmr, it will be a genersl family problem. That truly made sense. They shared the children amongst themselves all the way to the US. And today, the girls are in their 20s - doctor, lawyer and architect. They don't even call their biological dad their father cos they don't relate well with him. Even though the same evil man and his wife have threatened to deal with them for taking his kids from him. He's not seeing the good in what they did.
That said, please BVs when a relative has offended you if the kids call you for help, don't take it out on them. Help them, they are just children. Don't repeat the cycle.

    1. Your dad and his/her mum are psychopaths. I'm serious. These people are evil and totally self-absorbed and self centered. They destroy everything and everyone in their lives. As an adult steering clear of them is the best policy, even if you are their child.

  12. Your story doesn't make all mothers terrible and neither did James' story paint all men bad......

The point is, if you find yourself in that position right now, just change.

Moreover, you are a lady, are you like your mum? Am sure the ans is no, so it means every woman isn't like your mum, and every man isn't like the man James talked about.

For my own mum, she's prayerful that she can go on 12hrs vigil prayer for her children. But since I've known her, she doesn't have a stable work, or maybe I should say she doesn't like working. Up till this time in my life, can't boost of her spending #1000 on me. During my Uni days, daddy eloped with another woman when I was in 300l, so I paid my 400 and 500l school fees, reg fees, house rent, feeding and others myself. My mum didn't step into that shoes, but whenever I'm leaving for school, she will pray that I will find favor, will even drop from the foodstuff I bought myself and even drop no matter how little money for them (like #200 or more). Well, I give God the glory that I scaled through. But my mum will be the first to pray that once we're well-to-do, that she will reap the fruits of her labor. Different mothers we have, only God will helps we struggling children

My mum is like your mum's relative o very manipulative somebody! All she ever does is scatter! She's the only woman I know that will have grown daughters without bf talk more of hubby and be very happy. My sister is 37 no bf no hubby! My mum has never asked her how far or at least show concern she doesn't even talk about it, she just acts like its normal, when she finally brought a man home my mum rejected the man because according to her, the guy's mother gossiped her and made her loose all her friends over 20years ago. Very vindictive! Na her pray pass but she NEVER forgives! If you wrong her she will bear the grudge for decades! When I was growing up which kain insult I no recieve from her? Animal, anuofia, idiot, akwuna, Wicked girl, heartless girl, Onye iberibe, which man will marry you, you are very ugly, she made me feel like the ugliest girl on earth. If I hear people hail their mums I just sad for myself. Even when my brother wanted to marry she bad mouthed his wife so bad am shocked that woman didn't run away, when she went for my sister's omugwo she won't let my sis and her dh have sex if she hears my sister moaning she will go to their door and start knocking, pls don't kill my daughter o! Open this door! What are you doing to her that she's shouting like that, they didn't even let her stay more than a month. My brother's wife practically did her omugwo herself even though my mum was there na after 10days them buy her things tell her thanks for coming you can now leave. I dey pity my sister 37years! My mum still doesn't want to release her, she keeps bringing up different excuses why she shouldn't marry her fiancé. When my turn reach, she started her drama again, that my dh can't take care of me, he's too broke, that she spent a lot of money training me and I want to pay her back by marrying someone she won't gain anything from (mind you my dh was doing ok, he was not super rich then), I just quietly did my court wedding and took in while still living with my mum o, it was when I started showing that she called all my siblings to come and see how I've disgraced her, how she knew from the day I was born that I will always be a disgrace to her. I laughed like that day, I told her this is just the first child, I will still have the second and third if she doesn't respect herself and free me to marry my man. When I was about 7months gone, na her come beg my dh to come pay pride price. I gave her hell. While she was trying to hide the news that I was pregnant, I was flaunting my baby bump upandan. It's been 3years now and I she has never stepped her foot in my house but who cares? I am living happily with my husband!

When we still growing up, she will wake is up by 4am just to wash plate and make breakfast which can be done in less than hour woe betide you if finish your own chores by 5am and go back to bed, you must stay awake till its time for school and our school was just down the street. Na her go church pass from chosen -Mfm-winners-redeem-Christ embassy-sabbath-plus some other churches . If she quarrels you don't bother cooking in the house because she will pour anointed oil and all sorts on the food so that the poison you put in it won't affect her. If she quarrels with anybody and you greet that person, you will be homeless for 1week straight na for inside compound you go dey sleep. If you get ajob no matter how small you don turn housemate be that, you have your own share of Nepa bill, na you go dey buy fuel for gen, and food items too. On my wedding day I danced like mad woman because I was finally leaving my mum's house. Only God knows if it was just heart attack that killed my dad. Imm tired of typing jare

I know some people are gossips, nag, backbite etc but not wicked to their own children.I know a fixer, his name is Jesus Christ. Before you condemn her to death, have you shown her the way to the Lord?

Do you even pray for her?? I feel you are consumed with hate for her.Am not judging you but you need to let go.

  33. Interesting story coming out from a woman about her own mother. Thanks Jennifer.
I have realised no matter the post here, "NIGERIA MEN" are tagged as no good to most of the ladies here. We are the worst human on earth reading by their comments daily. Men are bashed frequently here forgetting we have evil women as well as men.
Stories about women are fine, normal.
In their eyes, I quote, "No woman do wrong unless a man push her into such".
A lot of men have loads of stories to tell about their wives, girlfriends, fiancées but choose not to. A lot of guys read post here daily but hardly Comment to avoid unnecessary women bashing. Few men like us who even comment avoid most posts or chooses not to put up our opinion sometimes to avoid unnecessary ranting.
We can only pray for the best partners but both gender have issues.

I understand @James made a lot of sense but lets not always tag men as evil or tag Yoruba men as "No Good or being controlled by their mothers. Same thing happens with our own igbo brothers. They are individual cases.

Do we have bad men in Nigeria? Yes we have bad men and irresponsible men same way we have in western world (white/black).
Do we need reorientation as African/Nigeria men? Yes we do. I wish our fathers did good job talking to us as men same way our mothers nurtured our sisters.
Do we have bad women? Yes we do, we have bad women and irresponsible women as well.
We read blogs to get better as men and change some of our actions, i learn everyday same as most guys who visit this blog. No man is an island.

Your dad made a mistake marrying her, even made worse mistakes calling her back. Women too make mistakes of marrying womanisers as husbands but console themselves with the lie that all men are like that.

  42. Some human beings are just bad. It doesn't matter their sex, age, tribe, religion, sexuality etc. Unfortunately some of you use these things to determine whether someone is good or bad. "OMG a Yoruba man? He must be a cheat" "She's Igbo? No wonder she's like that"."All men are evil". "Gays shld be shot" "Muslims are always causing problem". Take the comments during the Oba of benin's daughter's wedding to the hausa muslim guy. Most of you Just assumed that the marriage will crash or she was wedding out of desperation. Nobody considered the fact that maybe he is a good man or atleast good for her. You were all complaining that as a Muslim he wld marry another wife as if Christian or Edo men haven't gone behind their wives back to marry a second wife. Like there arent muslims with one wife. Don't people that marry from the same tribe or church divorce? Doesnt DV exist amongst couples that marry from the same village? The bigotry on that post was appalling. Only a few people actually wished her a happy married life. The most important thing is to end up with a good husband or wife regardless of tribe, religion or whatever. May God help us all. Amen.

    3. Informed comment. Very sensible. You've just said what most people have refused to admit to themselves even though they know it deep within their hearts. Good and evil are individual traits of persons. Not a religion, not a tribe, not a race, not a gender. Simple!

    4. You have always been a very sensible person. You mum did a good job. To all other BV's, specifically the ones who keep displaying their continuous bigotry and shallowness, keep it but but going far in life with that attitude won't take you far.

  45. Madam please keep quite! Who ever said women were angels? There have been millions of memos, articles, lectures telling women how to love, respect, care,in other words baby their husbands and becausr of just one article telling the men to learn to do same, you came to tell us your family history. All that memo was saying was couples, both husband and wife should learn to appreciate, love and care for each other. Otan!

  46. This is really horrible, when we advise people not to remain in abusive relationships, it goes for both sex. I really feel bad for your Dad and your family, But as a BVn that you "is" nah, you can bring your family together, not by rubbishing your mum o, but with love, love and lots of love. start by keeping in touch, sending love quotes and you can seek God's guidance.
I love my siblings and parents way too much to allow any rubbish come between us.

  48. Reading these stories about people's mum just made me appreciate my mum even more. That selfless woman that keeps supporting her husband. Worked tirelessly so that we'd all go to good schools. Worked tirelessly so that she could assist my dad in building a house and a home for us. Still working tirelessly till date to make sure there's always food at home.

Gosh! I love mum and dad. May u live long to reap the fruit of ur Labour.

Will be sure to give her a hug when she gets back from market today.

Bvs will d mama drama. So sorry for u. Really wish u had a mum like mine.

  50. Like the Poster said yesterday"some men are sent from hell while some women are not nice" this kind of chronicle can go on till God knows when because some fathers are horrible while some mothers are terrible..have had friends with stories of fathers and mothers..some happen right in front of a visitor(me) and they dint care.

  51. Jennifer, come take a hug, sweetheart.

I'm so so sorry about your mum.

I'm sorry that you don't know what it means for a mother to love her child.

I'm sorry that your dad who loved you all is no more.

Life's not fair, but we can still find happiness in it. I hope that you and your siblings do someday.

Hugs and kisses to everyone on here from broken / dysfunctional homes. It can't have been easy growing up like y'all did. *e hugs*
