    3. It's quite simple ma'am. Their value system supports it. It is similar to the caste system in India and some other parts of Asia. This way of life creates disparity between the highly privileged few and a large amount of helpless citizens. This system creates divide and causes the less fortunate to always look up to the elites for survival; it makes them mentally handicapped thereby dependent for life. Reducing the dignity of a man to nothing. This is the reason a northerner is loyal to the core to his master who feeds and shelter him and can kill without remorse or even commit suicide(suicide bombing) as directed by his master believing his family will be catered for by his master even if he dies.
      One of the ways to curb this wickedness is through massive enlightenment through education and encouraging individualism. But then again this is exactly what the Boko Haram millitants are fighting against. So, it a very big problem that can be brought to its barest minimum only with huge government and private partnership. Billions of dollars have to spent appropriatly. It may take 50 years or even more than a century to correct this mentality through long term plans and certainly not with the fire brigade approach the Nigerian government has used over the years. Mere fighting the insurance is only a temporary solution. In fact to be honest it won't solve any problem. With this method and approach insurgence my never ever leave Nigeria. A lot of mental orientation is required.
      GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

  4. Not surprised, anything for cattle. Are those orphans in school, do they have shelter, do they have access to good food, but one day ram they give and allow them to starve the remaining 364 days.

  6. Imagine! He didn't think of building good orphanages, hostels or enrolling them in schools. He didn't think of providing shelters or homes where they can go and eat and sleep, to take them off the streets. It's to buy cows. The mumu in him flows like river Jordan.

  7. This is why the poor will continue to remain poor in this country... You can release N12million to buy cows, but cannot release money to empower your people.. I mean what other level of stupidity exceeds what is being displayed here?

  8. It's a very poor country with silly leaders that celebrate mediocrity. It is your JOB sir to ensure the poor and destitute in your state are taken care of.

  13. Just need a fraction of that amount.

    Just hope those district heads won't keep some. Of the money for themselves.

  14. What I would like to know is this;

    Are the cows to be reared for income generation or eaten for celebrations and passed out as faeces in less than a week and they the poor orphans are left to wallow in their poverty.

    Now my real anger is the nightmarish anguish they will go through on days they wouldn't find a square meal. Imagine the mental torture of remembering the day the ate and ate and ate meat to their full and today, nothing.

    I think this governor should be sued for intent to cause severe mental withdrawal.
    Did I just rant? Whew.. pls Rivers State govt,pay me for my job done.
