Word For today - ARE THE WICKED REALLY SAFE?

Job 12v6 "The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly".
ARE THE WICKED REALLY SAFE? THAT IS THE question we are considering even now.

In our chapter today, Job's continues to express his anguish.
It is obvious that he is in terrible pain.
But that is making him express wrong judgement.
He is affirming here that robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure.

That MAY SEEM TRUE! But what seems true is not always true.
Many times good people suffer; as they see that people far more wicked than themselves are not suffering as much as they are suffering, they are usually hurt.

As a result, they keep wondering why God will allow the wicked to prosper and the godly to suffer.

In Psalm 73, the Psalmist said the same things. He wondered why the wicked prospered and he suffered. “They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.” Vs 5.
But these things are not so.

The wicked will eventually reap what they sow.

As for the righteous, he must not continue to accuse God of injustice. God is a good God and every good and perfect gift comes from Him.
In Psalm 73: 16- 22, the Psalmist shows us how he resolved the matter.
“When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castest them down into destruction.
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.”
The Psalmist even said he himself was so foolish in thinking that the wicked are doing well.

We must focus on God's dealings with us.

Our dear heavenly Father is interested in us. He wants us to win every time and if things are not going well, as we seek His Holy Face, He will reveal to us what to do.
Job's assessment here is wrong. He was overwhelmed by his suffering. We must cut him some slack here.
God will not allow you to be put to shame.
You are going to win in all that pertains to you.
To the ends of the earth!
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!

  4. True.

It's not for us to say what happens to whom.

God always knows what He's doing.

  6. Maybe the wicked reap what they sow in the afterlife, certainly not when they are alive.
People perpetrate evil on a daily and get away with it.
They slander, and malign you for no just cause. What happens to them?
I am tired of hearing 'the wicked will not go unpunished' the time to punish them is now.
