Britain's biggest divorce

Richard Caring, popularly known as "Sir Shifty" is allegedly facing Britain's largest ever divorce payout after reportedly leaving his wife for a Brazilian lover half his age.

The 68 years old multi-millionaire, could be forced to pay out up to £350million to his wife Jacqui, 67, after apparently dumping her for his 35-year-old lover.

The businessman, who owns a string of exclusive London eateries including The Ivy and Le Caprice, is said to have moved out of the home he shared with his wife of 45 years, straight into a home with his lover, Patricia Mondinni, with whom he has a young son.

‎A friend told The Sun: 'Richard left Jacqui in February and is very happy with Patricia now. They had been living apart for some time before the split.'‎

The father-of-two married Jacqui(his ex wife), the daughter of a retired British Army major, after meeting her at a catwalk show in 1948. She gave up her modelling career just three days after they were introduced.

At one point they moved to Hong Kong and had two sons - Jamie, a vice-president of MTV Networks Europe, and Ben, who works for Soho House – before returning to the UK.

Are u saying he was never happy with his wife for 45 good years?
And to think she gave up on her modelling career just to marry him? Even if he is happy with his new found Love won't the love fade away again?
Lesson to learn, Never give up on your Dreams in Life for anyone...if the want to leave u, they still gon leave

    4. I remember my uncle that left his wife for a younger babe. When things were not rosy anymore, the babe fled. He was ill and it was the first wife that took care of him. Thank God he retraced his steps. Not all women would hv taken him back sha.

  6. His ex is worth every penny and then some. All these Brazilian girls don't waste time. You can't blame the young lover though, it takes two to tango. I feel sorry for the wife in a way because with women, it's a lot harder to find a devoted partner if one's husband dies or takes off, especially at a certain higher age, f#(k the gigolos.

    1. You think everyone is like naija women that carry marriage on their head. Why would you want to work things out with a selfish man that has brought you so much disgrace? After all the suffering and cooking and taking care of him and raising children? So you can answer Mrs

  8. I am going to persist till i touch your hearts. Do you know that i posted this plea on my facebook since yesterday, and up till now no one has responded to it, i have close to 500 friends, one of them is a politician with one of the biggest house i have ever seen, one of them is a big time oil marketer and some are high income salary earners, yet they must have read it and overlooked it, i understand the situation here on SDK, nobody knows me personally here, so i get that you guys will be skeptical ( please don't be, this is 100% genuine), but some of my facebook friends know me "reach house", yet no response. Maybe next time when i send out the plea i will add a picture of my boobs to it, maybe that will get their attention.

    1. Madam, you really can't force anyone to support your course, moreover, we've seen a lot of people forming sincere and good intention till they disappear with people's money and stuff, trust is scarce these days.

My advise to you is to do what you can WITH YOUR OWN MONEY and just maybe when people see how devoted you are they'll support you but to expect others to help you START your dream? Wake up pls!

  9. Hello everyone. I just started a one woman NGO, i want to
bring clothing and food to the poor around Abuja. I have
carried out my research and i am ready to start doing this
but i am still gathering the products i need to give to
them. I don't have these things personally to give to them
and that is why i have come to you guys on their behalf. I
am asking Abuja residents that can afford it, for clothes,
shoes, bags(Female, Male, Children) and food stuffs that
you can spare because some of these people lack these
things, soooooo many are living so far below poverty
level that their plight will melt your heart. I am a beaded
jewelry designer and really want to help some of them in
a little skill acquisition but they can not even afford the
materials to use for the training, please i also plead for
your help in that aspect, i plead for your financial help in
funding this. These people might not be able to thank you
in person but believe me their prayers for you will reach
Gods ear. I also want to start a soup kitchen like they do
abroad where any hungry person can come off the street
and be sure of a good meal even if it is once every week, i
do not know anybody in government or any wealthy
person that i can meet to sponsor this, but i have you
guys, my blog family. You can contact me with
08053658026 or send a mail to
beaddazzle86@gmail.com and anyone who has the time
can also join me in person to this, it is really fulfilling.
Each of us has something he or she is asking God,
helping those less privileged than you might hasten your
miracle, thanks and God bless you. Stella please enable
    this oooooooo.

    2. Entitlement. A successful NGO isn't a days job. As you're trying on cyber space, keep trying in the real. And stop getting upset if you think no one is responding as you expected. Except of course you have ulterior motives..... *side eye*
oh! And if you don't like my comment join everyone else who goes under anonymous to cuss me out.

  11. Ogini, Is this a case of mid life crisis or what? Anyway, there's a lot of lessons to be learnt from thus:

*Ladies, do not give up your career for a man. If he can't accept you and your career, say good riddance to him.

    * men are unpredictable and even in their old age, they cAn still leave.

    * A cheat is a cheat and if you don't leave that dog man, he might leave you. She should have filed for divorce when she found about his affair in the first instance.....There's absolutely no excuse for an extramarital affair, especially one that produced a child.

On a final note, I bet the 35 year old lady is a gold digger...how much longer does a 68year old man has to live???? Women are their own greatest enemies.
